Julio updated the action list to the security program he completed each early afternoon.

The Swiss Project again showed a combination of data leaks and questionable communications. He checked the time and called Nat at the facility. The call went to Natā€™s answering machine, Julio left a brief message for Nat to call him.

As his day was coming to a close, Julio was getting ready to leave, Priscilla called and stated that Security at the Swiss facility had called stating that Nat had committed suicide in his office. Julio expressed shock and questioned what effect this would have on the project as they would be delivering assemblies starting next week. Priscilla stated that Nat acted as their primary contact with the facility management and that she was sending Sara to assure communications remained in place until they assigned a replacement.

Julio asked if he would be needed, Priscilla stated that Sara should be able to handle the transition, Julio agreed.

Frederick stepped in and laid the delivery schedule on Julioā€™s desk. It would seem that our heavy reliance on North America providers has clearly accelerated the project and has greatly increased our client base both here and in Europe. With this being all new technology, we have steered clear of creating any advisories and cost controlled the project. Julio asked if his numbers are based on current transportation costs or the new costs that begin next month?

Speaking of Switzerland, the technology appears overly heavy on concept, but very thin on stability as the most recent test found the process (G-forces) to be extremely hard on the body. There is established evidence that the body has clear limits and when they are exceeded, injuries occur. With great luck, the recent test was successful, but we damn near killed the test subject. Frederick, you need to be there, to look over-shoulders, to build-in stability that will protect the body. In addition, there does not seem to be any controls to ensure that when travel occurs, that changes do not occur, causing uncontrolled change in history.

There is a transport flight tomorrow, you should consider being on it. Frederick agreed and recommended they call Priscilla.

The fully loaded 747 rumbled down the runway and eased slowly into the air. Frederick never did like flying in aircraft, especially big heavy ones. As the 747 joined the line of aircraft crossing the Atlantic, Frederick opened the project review that Julio had assembled from onsite reports he had collected from Natā€™s files. The number of glaring errors, lack of procedural over-sight and out and out non-existing safety protocols caused Frederick to cringe. The project was clearly out-of-control. The build-schedule was good at this point, still dealing with foundation assemblies, but what existed above it was clearly unproven and questionable. Julioā€™s statements regarding lack of stability rang in his ears. He ran a couple of basic calculations and was astounded that the last test didnā€™t outright kill the subject! Frederick was physically shaken.

Frederick set a conference call with both Priscilla and Julio. He started off by saying, there is serious problems with the Switzerland Time project and although we are fundamentally a legal, specific application software and logistic supplier, we have a responsibility to not only ourselves, but the other investors to vastly slow this part of the project. As Julio pointed out there is serious problems with the stabilities of technologies. Julio, you are so correct, we are extremely lucky that Rickeybird was not killed outright.

Our liabilities are low, but our reputation could be easily affected if this segment of the project begins killing individuals. Julio asked an open-ended question: Could this be the reason that Nat took his life? I see your point Julio, what do you think Frederick, Priscilla asked. We can never know for certain, but yes, that makes sense, he answered.

Frederick stated that he will call the Phoenix group, specifically their liaison officer with Blue Front Enterprises and update him. Priscilla stated that she has a conference call with Sara and the Switzerland Project Managers shortly and will let them know of our concern and the loss of our manager. Are you thinking total shutdown Frederick, she asked? That is not our decision to make, Priscilla. It is important to remember there are two very different projects underway at that location and the Time project is Earth based where the Mars project is clearly not.

I believe, the Time project has likely expanded beyond its original definition (short-term time travel) that limited travel to within a couple of years and not centuries from current time. Pulling the project back with in its original definition may help. Remembering that we are first attorneys with legal, application software and logistic expertise, not scientists.

Priscilla added those points to her meeting brief underlining several. Frederick began developing a brief that covered this discussion to assure that everyone was working from the same information and sent it to each of the Partners. The document from Frederick arrived as Priscilla was entering the video conference.

Frederick checked the time and called his contact at Blue Front Enterprises.

Frederick found himself staring at the equipment that was used to transport Rickeybird as he continued to find patchworked bits, as if it was, hmmm, canā€™t be. As if it was reverse engineered technologies?!?! His heart sunk again as the reality of being extremely lucky in not losing Rickeybird. And, to think that the other group had healthy Rainbow Lorikeets exiting their equipment. How was that possible?

The CERN Hadron Collider work was developing very interesting data on the mysteries and very likely ability of creating artificial micro black holes. He had provided the software, but this is the first time that he had seen any data. As he continued to observe, he kept circling back to Julioā€™s comments as part of the agreement with Boeing /KLM, his search for Linkage! Is there functional linkage here?

I wonder if there is anything to find in the work of ā€˜Dr. Saltinus J. Amazonas,ā€™ His phone rang, hmmm, Sara what good timing! Frederick, could you join me in our on-site office, Iā€™m meeting with the operations manager and he wants to meet you. Great, see you shortly.

Frederick ducked stepped into the on-site Yellow Nape office. Sara introduced him to the facilities operationā€™s manager, Sergio. Clearly Sergio had never met a Mealy Amazon and whatever fire he had from the earlier meeting flowed away as he clearly did not want to excite Frederick. Sara saw the change and elected to spirit Frederick as she said: Frederick, Sergio was not overly happy about our concerns regarding the Time project. Frederick caught the tempo change and proceed by moving closer to Sergio. Sergio, Iā€™m deeply concerned regarding the physical condition of our staff person, that without our permission, was used in the Time Test. In addition, the loss of Nat, who we believed was gravely affected by the pain and suffering, which his friend suffered, likely resulted in his taking his life.

In reviewing Natā€™s documents, which you had been copied on, clearly there had been known issues with the technology, yet the test proceeded. From what little time we have had together, I can clearly see you are the type of man that views his staff as family, that is common in our company as well. When a ā€˜specialā€™ person in your organization is used /should I say abused by others, it hurts you personally. Hence, you can understand how we feel. When it includes a loss, it hurts deeply. If you find us, a bit edgy, I know you understand where we are coming from. Our goal is very simply, we want to help you assure that no one else suffer as we are suffering.

Frederick extended his wing. Sergio was total caught off-guard, stating how sorry he was for Yellow Napeā€™s loss and the wrongful use of another. He thanked Frederick for Yellow Napes wishing to help and committed himself to making major changes to the project and facility as a whole and he is fully open to any help from Yellow Nape. Frederick thanked him and opened the door stating that he would be happy to meet with Sergio tomorrow to review what we had found.

After Sergio had left, Sara was about to say something, just as Frederick touched her bill. He pointed to his mobile and the flashing red light. He wrote ā€˜bugsā€™ on a piece of paper. He said, not sure about you, but I would love something to eat. Sara agreed as she closed the door behind them.

Sergio opened the door for Frederick to enter their large meeting room. Frederick guessed there was at least a couple hundred members of Sergioā€™s staff. After Sergioā€™s short introduction, Frederick began. Near two hours later, Frederick asked if anyone had an additional question. With a wide smile, Sergio thanked his staff and Frederick then stated, ā€œFolks we have much to do and Iā€™m certain that we are all on the same field to make this happen,ā€. Thank you again for coming today Frederick!

As Sergio exited behind Frederick, he thanked Frederick for not only defining problem areas, but inspiring his staff to achieve much high levels of excellence. He stated that he was unaware that Frederick was a motivational speaker. Frederick stated that he wasnā€™t and that he only provided what Yellow Nape had noted as areas of improvement and in a way that he would want someone to ask of him. Sergio thanked him again and asked if he would visit from time to time as the project progresses. Frederick thanked him and stated that he would.

He turned in the hallway and contacted Sara, asked if she had time for lunch as he headed toward the Yellow Nape on-site office. Frederick checked the time and called his contact at Blue Front Enterprises.

Upon entering the office, Frederick asked when the next transport 747 was schedule. As they left the office, he showed her his phone and the status of the office, still bugged. As they left the parking area, she turned toward the airport and called the hanger to update them on Frederickā€™s arrival time and that he would likely be hungry, Frederick smiled.

She asked what they should do regarding the bugs in the office. Frederick stated that once they arrived at the hanger, he would get her a new phone with that added feature. For now, Sara, we let them listen. You have been around Julio long enough that you know when to leave a bugged office and what to say when you are in that office, right? She smiled.

Frederick called Priscilla and provided a review of his visit to Switzerland and that he would be arriving on the 747 transport later this afternoon. He also stated that he would be providing Sara a bug detection phone. He then stated that we should talk about when we want to release the package that the ā€˜Problem Solversā€™ had installed.

After hanging up, he asked Sara if the chocolate here was really that good? Sara looked at him and stated that the Hanger staff are prepared to address that question!

Priscilla heard the 747 in front of the Amsterdam Airport, Schiphol Hanger. She elected to walk down to meet Frederick, after all, the affirmations of his speech in Switzerland had been keeping her phone busy. She figured that he should get a heroā€™s welcome. As she arrived near the bottom of the portable stairway, he was just exiting the aircraft. She had guessed that he was thanking the flight crew, which he commonly did prior to exiting an aircraft.

As he approached her, he opened his wings to accept her hug. The decades always felt like yesterday with them, dear friends, and business partners merged whenever they were together. I hear that you made a few hundred new friends in Switzerland dear friend. The calls have been non-stop from our clients connected to the project and others that want to be. Hmmm, so much for keeping this under wraps, Frederick stated with a smile.

I spoke to Julio regarding releasing the package in Switzerland, Priscilla stated. He states that as head of security, it should have been open the day it was installed, but as a Partner, we need to consider the ramifications if it was to be discovered. And that is what I love about Julio, Frederick added, his big picture vantage. Have we created a monster in promoting him, hmmm no, we should have done it much sooner, he stated, answering his own question!

Well, lets gather in my office as ā€˜weā€™ have a pile of contracts to sign as our new task master has been very busy, Priscilla stated. Frederick slowed her for a moment as he asked; how many of our employees do we really know? We have grown so very large, we are in so many countries around the World, Iā€™m not sure how many employees we even have? I think, we need to look at a way of connecting, what say you dear friend? Well, Julio keeps talking about 'managing by walking' around, Iā€™m thinking he has something there ā€” we need to talk to him about that concept in an action form.

Julio checked his phone, hmmm, Phoenix area code and the caller ID, Mrs. Black! His phone displayed that the line was bugged. Well hello Mrs. Black, I had been anticipating your call. What can I do for you today? He listened as he checked his notes and set a search of her phone number. She wanted a meeting to talk about what she had come across and it had to do with projects that Yellow Nape was involved. What project Julio asked? Well, I really donā€™t want to talk about this on the phone, I was hoping to meet with you. Okay, where are you. Iā€™m in Chicago. Hmmm, Iā€™m not going to be in Chicago for at least month. ā€” I have an incoming call that I need to take, is this a good number to get back with? Okay, talk with you later, as Julio hung-up. Interesting, the data states she was calling from the Kanas City area.

Julio connected to the incoming call from Priscilla as she asked if she was interfering with an important call? Not unless you consider Mrs. Black important, but more on her later, what can I do for you. Well, Frederick and I was wondering about our organization, so we elected to call ā€˜theā€™ person that would know what we are, how big we are, and our operations?

Well, as you both know, we are in fact a fairly small organization, a quad-corporation, which appears far smaller than we really are by any count with the exception of reach and financial. As you recall, a couple of years ago, there was an ā€˜infostructureā€™ attack on our organization affecting our Computer Systems and, Brick and Mortar. With truly great luck, and I mean that, we did not incur any injuries or deaths, and again, we had been truly lucky. Back then, we looked like a traditional legal organization with offices located near other law offices, commonly in the heart of cities.

Today, we are 100% located at major international airports commonly located near or in their corporate hanger area. We rent those airport owned hangers under the name of our real estate group. The day-to-day operation is handled by one of two ā€˜Fixed Base Operatorā€™ (FBO) service groups, we contract with internationally. Each facility has at most one to three true employees. With the exception of what I will call our ā€˜corporateā€™ hangers that house one or more of us and our assistance, with the exception of Atlanta with specific ā€˜groupsā€™ of three individuals each, a total of four groups (12 individuals). A little over a year ago, we began contracting with an international group that specializes in ā€˜special operationsā€™ that have acted as our ā€˜equipment exchange specialists.ā€™

As of today, we are 53 members Worldwide. In all honesty, there are mid-size city legal organizations that are much larger than we and we are international in scope.

From the transportation vantage point, our owned Aircraft are maintained and flown by members of one or the other ā€˜Fixed Base Operatorā€™ (FBO) service groups. The two large aircraft are KLM owned and operated combo 747ā€™s, which the latest information is the two new units will be available in about two weeks. Which brings us to another point, ā€˜Why KLM?ā€™ The simple answer, those aircraft can land at any international airport in the World we operate at and no one thinks twice about it being out of place.

Priscilla stated, ā€˜see I told you he would know.ā€™ Frederick chuckled. Let us get back to that discussion, as I need to ask about the Package that is in Switzerland. Julio defined the package as Mealy International Security Software, which is integrated in our Mealy Operating System. Since it is segmented within that operating system most software engineers would miss it unless they are looking for very specific code. That software sits in each of our three servers and the Switzerland version is the first ā€˜nonā€™ server-based operation. It is a ghost system that links in via a laptop and monitors the activity of the host system using specific search parameters of numbers, words and phrases much like the standard system, just not interactive. As with the standard software, 70% of it just monitors. Itā€™s the active 30% that stumps all over any legal safe ground as it pulls just short of criminal.

Still needing the steadying guidance of the walls to find his way along, the Rickeybird manages to solicit guidance and directions to Julio's office as instructed much earlier. Having successfully slept off the alcohol and toxins, he feels ready to undertake a serious conversation with The Man. Finally securing a nice spot in a huge overstuffed armchair in the ante-chamber to The Big Office, the Rickeybird makes do with preening his chest feathers (which still yield small clouds of tequila fumes and Cuban cigar ash dust, much to his satisfaction). He notices that the gorgeous little 'tiel is seated nearby in a straightback office chair, perched alertly forward is if ready to spring into action. To what purpose, he muses...? To make sure he doesn't wander? To spy on his actions? To try to grab any secret notes or such which might flutter loose from his ill-groomed plumage? Or just to titillate herself with her nearness to the debonair old debauchee? Oh yes, that is surely it. He nodded to himself and succumbed to another snooze, delighting in the certainty that the heavily-rouged little girl-parrot's perfectly-lashed eyes were roving his roosterly chest pectorals. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, life was always good in Yellow Nape Law territory...

Hello Mrs. Black. Sorry, but I did need to take that call. So, you are in Chicago and want to meet? Yes, I believe that I have information. Julio cut her off, mid-sentence, Iā€™m sorry but your phone is breaking-up and I can barely understand you. Is there another phone available to you? Without thinking, she gave him her room phone number. Okay, Iā€™ll call you back, Julio said as he hung-up. A quick check found she was still in the Kansas City and that her mobile phone was still bugged.

She answered and Julioā€™s quick check found this line clear and that she was at a Holiday Inn Express in Kansas City. Much better, Julio stated. Now, you were saying; Well, I have information regarding two projects that Yellow Nape is involved in that you really need to know. Well, Iā€™m just not going to be in the Chicago area for at least a month. Are there some bits you could share at this time, Julio asked?

Fifteen minutes later and he had everything she claimed to know. He entered the vast majority into several searches and allowed the system to do its thing while he checked his messages. Hmmm, Rickeybird is in the reception area.

Julio took the stairs down and came into the reception area. The receptionists pointed to where Rickeybird was sitting. Julio thanked her and asked if she could make a couple of Rum and Cokes using his Rum and a dish of deluxe nuts, without peanuts. She smiled and turned away. Julio continued into the reception area and greeted Rickeybird. After several minutes of catch-up Julio asked what he knew about Mrs. Black?

Rickey, Iā€™m headed to Michigan this afternoon, would you like a ride to Cleveland? Iā€™ll be returning Monday morning if you are interested, as there is something in Europe that I could use your expertise with.

As Julio returned to his office, he asked the receptionists to set Rickeybird up for a visit to the Spa in the neighboring hanger, she stated he would likely enjoy that, sir!

The search was complete and the links where not surprising. The recent work of the ā€˜Problem Solversā€™ had cleared all but one source. That individual was under close surveillance by Interpole. He placed a quick call to a friend in Germany that has connections with Interpole. Then he contacted his FBO staffer, arranged a flight for Mrs. Black and a new phone with strict instructions that they obtain and shred her current phone ā€˜beforeā€™ boarding.

He reviewed his emails and messages, responding as he reviewed them. Julio then created a brief for his fellow partners and sent it. He closed his laptop and took the stairs. Rickeybird was back and looked quite well, quite well indeed. They headed out toward the waiting King Air.

As the Blackhawk upgraded, King Air lifted-off and continued on its flight to Atlanta, Julio asked if Rickeybird enjoyed his weekend. As anticipated, Rickey had quite the story of Chili Joy! Julio smiled -- this bird truly enjoys his Chiliā€™s!

As the aircraft continued its climb, Julio shifted the discussion to Rickeybirdā€™s upcoming trip to Europe this afternoon. Julio was aware of an upscale gentlemenā€™s club near the design and test facility and asked Rickey to camp-out and listen for discussion regarding the Time Project that Sergio headed. The goal was quite simple, determine if project information was being openly discuss by the staff. Julio cautioned Rickey not to lead anyone, but to just listen. He also recommended that Rickey avoid buying drinks for others, as the goal is to sample the looseness and volume of sensitive information being discussed without effort. We donā€™t want to create leaks Rickey; we only want to determine if it is happening. Rickeybird had two additional ā€˜hangoutsā€™ that should be considered, Julio agreed, and stated that when he arrives in Switzerland, staff will have a car available for his use. You are scheduled to return next week Monday; staff will provide you information regarding timing and your accommodations during the week.

Julio met the parked KLM 747 and waited for Frederick to exit the aircraft! It had been a long flight as the aircraft had landed in Phoenix prior to flying on to Atlanta. It will be interesting to hear Frederickā€™s views on the build status of the Phoenix project as this is now the fifth shipment, they have received with three from North America and this second one from Europe, not including semi-truck shipments.

Julio was viewing the cargo area of the aircraft and noted several containers headed for Europe already in place with several truck loads ready for loading as Frederick deplaned. Frederick called out to Julio as he reached the last step. Your recommendation of my visiting Switzerland was right-on point, as you have heard, much was accomplished.

As they entered the hanger, Frederick called out to Rickeybird and they joined him in the reception area. Julio reviewed what Rickeybird will be doing in Switzerland this week as Frederick listened. Youā€™ll be okay with doing this for us, yes? Rickeybird answered with a smile. Great Julio added, and then suggested that Rickeybird speak with the receptionist as she had documents for you to sign and also your travel documents, mobile phone, cash and credit cards. Frederick and I have a meeting to attend, and we will see you a bit later for a late lunch, here? The receptionist nodded agreement.

As Frederick and Julio stepped into the elevator, Frederick asked Julio when he spoke to Sara last, Iā€™m thinking she is feeling a bit forgotten as part of her new assignment!

Well, in all honesty, I have been avoiding calling her Frederick! When she joined us during the political turmoil, some three plus years ago, which included the odd death of her father, Judge Mac. The spiraling up-evil lead Priscilla seeing the need to safeguard both Sara and her mother by moving them to Western Europe. As you know, her mother has easily fit into our Frankfort, Germany group. We knew then that Sara was extremely intelligent and extremely active mentally. The concern then was her becoming easily bored, hence her assignment to me targeting working into my position, at that time, manager of Africa and Asia. With the death of Nat and her assignment to cover his position until a replacement is found. My greatest concern was her become bored. But for her to become proficient as a regional manager, she has to be adaptable in scaling herself as she will need to fill-in, as needed. I will call her and provide a pep-talk, but we need to consider her long-term place in the organization. In all honesty, she needs to learn how to adapt to vastly changing environments that flow from all-out adrenalin to over-whelming boredom. Frederick asked that Julio keep him in that loop.

Regarding the ā€˜package,ā€™ as Frederick switched topics, Iā€™m thinking a revision to that package that allows us to use it to its full potential but stays further inside the law. While on the plane, this is what I have put together as he turned his laptop toward Julio. Frederick had highlighted the areas that he had altered. Julio asked if he could try the different segments and run his version against it. Thatā€™s a great idea for testing it Julio!

Julio connected the two laptops with a hardwire. He set a search against Fredericksā€™s laptop and turned them so both could watch the interaction. Julioā€™s computer found seven open links. Frederick began fixing them as Julio noted the time and stated that he needed to see Rickeybird off.

Rickeybird was finishing-up with the receptionist as Julio came up behind him. So, youā€™re already Rickey, Julio asked. Rickeybird smile widely and said he was. Julio stated that he should call ā€˜as neededā€™ and to remember that we do not want to create leaks! In the background the receptionist called for passages to begin boarding the flight. They finished their goodbyes and Rickeybird headed out. Julio asked the receptionist to assure that Rickeybird had lunch available on the aircraft and if she would be so kind as to bring Fredericks and his lunch to his office. She smiled and said she would make it happen.

When he arrived back in his office, Frederick was deep into making adjustments to the software, he finished and asked Julio to run another search. Julio set his laptop for another search a bit deeper this time. As he approved the search, the receptionist entered the room with the lunches and asked if they would like something to drink. Julio stated that he likely had what they would need in his mini refrigerator, while thanking her.

At that moment, Julioā€™s screen went red as it noted a major attempt to hack into the system. He quickly disconnected Frederickā€™s laptop and set the additional firewalls in place and shutdown the incoming line and the adjoining lines from which the attack originated, while releasing a reverse attack. Frederick watched as Julio released the full force of his software and smiled to himself as he watched his system not only protect, but release an attack of far more fury and speed on whomever attempted the attack. Iā€™ll have intel on the who shortly. How badly should we hurt them, Julio asked? Not surprisingly, Frederick stated, that depends on the who. Plus, I would prefer not to advertise our full abilities. Julio slowed the countermeasures as the system identified the source. Well, thatā€™s interesting, Julio stated, as he slowed the countermeasures even more. Frederick stated that it appears as if I need to make a phone call, doesnā€™t it?

As Sara answer her phone, Julio checked whether there is still a bug in the on-site office. Interesting, it showed the office was clean. Julio heard Sara state that she was happy that he called as she had a number of questions for him. Julio asked if she liked the office and was it being cleaned regularly? Sara stated it was a bit on the small side, but yes, apparently it was cleaned well last night as even the windows had been washed.

What has it been like since Frederick had left? Sara stated that it appears that there is a renewed interest in the successful upgrade of the Time project. Oh, I have received a new data set from the Marsā€™ project that I will uploading for Frederick prior to leaving for the day. But other than that, not much happening here. Well, since you will be sending that data to Frederick, letā€™s get you connected to Natā€™s router. Behind you, at eye level, there is a small black box with two antennas, unplug the power cord. It is likely dusty as most cleaning crews stay far away from those things. Sara removed a napkin from the desk and cleaned the box. Okay, letā€™s plug it back in and set the antennas correctly. On your phone find the App listings and search for Remote Set-up and launch it. Now adjust the antennas until they are located within the box on the screen. Select Set-up Completed. Now connect the hardwire between your laptop and the router.

Julio reset his computer to mirror hersā€™ and told her that she was connected. Julio ran a dialogist on her laptop and adjusted the router to fill the room with white noise. While in, he updated her laptop with the latest operating system with the built-in security software that Frederick had just completed and lastly, linked to the ghost laptop and updated its software and launched /opened that unit and set it for continuous operation.

While completing those things, he stated that they will be completing a tour of her region and providing software updates to her offices and customers, so we will be busy. He also quizzed her regarding being ready for the upcoming managers meeting and questioned if she found a replacement for Nat. She stated that Priscilla was handling that! Hmmm, I doubt that Priscilla would place her rising star in charge of the Switzerland facility and not expect that you would find the replacement, do you?

Sara, we both know that you have long been able to handle ā€˜with easeā€™ multiple projects at the same time, correct! Why would Priscilla not expect you to find Natā€™s replacement? I would strongly recommend that you take what we both know has already been floating around that active mind of yours and place it in writing and have it in Priscillaā€™s laptop first thing in the morning. Plus, you have just as likely been looking at reconfiguring Yangā€™s group, correct? As you well know, as Regional Manager you are never without things that require your attention! Time to get those in a brief and in the hands of the Partners.

As a side note, when you speak with James at Cape Parrot Law, please ask about our many friends there. Itā€™s been silent for a long time.

While we are at it, letā€™s upload that data for Frederick. Sara attached the data to an email and sent it. She responded how quickly it loaded and sent. Yes, Julio stated, our Frederick is constantly looking for ways to increase our effectiveness!

Oh, what questions did you have for me? She giggled, as so very common, you already answered them. Oh, one more thing Sara, Rickeybird is visiting Switzerland and will be acting in the background. Old fashion, feet on the ground stuff for us. He arrives with this afternoonā€™s 747. If he needs something, he will contact you.

Well hello Frederick, how are you my friend. Iā€™m personally doing well General, but it seems that my staff are busy cleaning-up the effects of the hack attack released by your staff. One moment Frederick, I need to get my IT guy on the line. Certainly General.

Frederick, I find myself very embarrassed, it seems my staff had been investigating leak sources regarding the CERN project and they mistakenly hit your server. But, WOW Frederick, you guys didnā€™t hold back on your counter measures. The word Iā€™m getting is that we would like your guys to come over and help us clean-up!

I can make that happen, but what program will we be billing the work to General. I will have you a program name and number later this afternoon. Frederick, is it possible for you to have staff here tomorrow morning? Iā€™ll need to check General, but you may want to talk with your IT staff as to what replacements they will likely need as Iā€™m fairly certain that at the very least you have several power supplies that are likely fried. Frederick, let me give you my IT officerā€™s number and have your guy call my guy, okay! Oh, and Frederick, this of course, never happened!

Julio looked up as Frederick walked into his office! Well Frederick, you look like the Eagle that just eat the Cat! Julio, can we have our IT staff at the Phoenix, Arizona site tomorrow morning? It seems that they need help repairing the damage stuff from our counter measures. Oh, and yes, we will have numbers to charge our costs! The work will all be under the heading of ā€˜system maintenance.ā€™ Hereā€™s the information of their IT officer and he is working on a list of what needs to be repair /replaced.

Julio smiled; you mean this list as he handed him the list of targeted items! Yea Julio, this list. Julio stated that they are gathering up the items now and I will call our FBO contact and have the King Air readied and set for departure at 7:00 am. Iā€™ll call this guy now so they are comfortable that they can be back online mid-afternoon tomorrow.

Had you spoke to Priscilla regarding the upgrade to the security software Frederick? No, but if you have time, letā€™s do that now. Julio selected Priscilla number. A moment later, they both heard her signature greeting. Well?

Iā€™m guess that you spoke with Sara, Julio, as I have a mountain of communications from her this Morning, and I see that she had copied both you and Frederick as well. I also noted the watermark in the header that Frederick included in the Partnersā€™ update of the software, so Iā€™m guess she has been updated as well, yes? Thatā€™s correct Frederick stated. Plus, we released the ghost unit. Well great, whatā€™s the plan for implementation gentlemen?

Julio finished his call with the IT officer and comparing her list to his staffā€™s list, it was very clear they are upgrading their equipment in addition to repairing the compounds lost. Julio called Frederick and apprized him of what was happening. Well, Frederick said, clearly, they are taking advantage of a huge error on their part. Do you have an estimated cost? Wow, Iā€™ll give my friend a call and will be back shortly.

Frederick, I wasnā€™t expecting a call from you today, whatā€™s you got? Wow, thatā€™s a buck or two above what I had expected. Let me adjust the project value and update your copy. Are you still planning on your staff being here in the morning? Great, talk with you later, bye!

Yes, we are cleared to complete the additional work Julio. Just a question, what effect does this upgrade have in defeating our front and backdoor walls? I had the same thought Frederick and have our staff checking.

Rickeybird elected to stop at one of the clubs that he had added to Julioā€™s target. As he stepped-in, he received loud and friendly welcomes from members of the CERN Time project. What are you doing here? Looking for another fast ride? Rickeybird said no, really not interested in do that again! Understand that it was tough on you, old friend? Yea, it was far worst than a solid hangover! Well sorry about that one! But youā€™re alright now, yes? Yes, I feel pretty good for an old fart. So, what are you doing back here? Rickeybird stated that heā€™s working out of the front office and doing onsite work for several other customers that are upgrading their computer systems. Hmmm, lots of that going-on? Certainly is, especially with so many individuals working from home, Rickeybird stated.

Yang looked up just as Deep Beak stepped into his office. Is there a problem he asked? Yes, there is, I have a contact to kill you and your staff, plus take the computers. But Yellow Nape has always treated my partner and I with respect and I need to get that information to Julio without raising any flags. I understand Yang stated as he opened his laptop and opened a facetime link within the Yellow Nape system with Julio. Julio came on as Yang stated, I have someone here that needs to speak with you. Yang stood-up and left the room, closing the door behind him.

Julio, you and Yellow Nape have always treated my partner and I with respect! I must tell you that I have a contract to kill the staff at this office and take the computers. Beak, you need to complete this contract and we are willing to do whatever you need to make that happen. What do you recommend? Deep Beak thanked Julio and provided a plan and needed items to assure that it all happened with out failure. I understand, please have Yang come back in the office.

Yang, you need to obtain the following items (as the list appear on the side of his screen) for Deep Beak and quickly. You also need to follow his instruction without fail ā€” do you understand? Yang stated that he did and will have everything that Deep Beak needed within the hour. Deep Beak, I will be traveling in the near future, we should meet, my friend.

Yang had the needed items gathered and loaded into the micro van 40 minutes after they ended the call. Deep Beak asked regarding transportation and Yang stated that the same Aircraft that you used recently will be landing in the next 20 minutes and will be ready about 15 minutes after that. Iā€™m guessing that South Korea is your destination? Deep Beak stated that would be good. Here is a mobile phone, call this number and we will have the King Air ready when you arrive. Deep Beak thanked Yang and left.

Green Pheasant Law sat within a group of other wood framed downtown law offices and had been a partner group of Yellow Nape International for near 20 years. With the passing of its owner last year, it has been operated by Yellow Nape. With the exception of the timer-controlled lighting and the old office furnishings it has been empty with the exception of street people who sleep in the basement from time to time.

A micro van with a cleaning service placard on the door, parked in front of the office and two men with their supplies entered just after 18:00. At about 18:30 they closed-up behind them and left. At 19:25, Yangā€™s phone rang, it was Deep Beak and he told Yang they were about 10 minutes from arrival. Yang stated he would have the crew begin the start-up sequence and you should be able to load directing into the aircraft and lifted off shortly after that.

At 19:50, the alarm message stated that there was a fire at Green Pheasant Law office. Yang called Sara and provided her an update. Sara stated that any inquirers should be ā€˜autoā€™ directed to Priscillaā€™s office. Yang made the needed changes to the Office answering system for afterhours answering. Also, Yang, when you are ready, we need to talk about moving your group! Yes Sara, if you have time now, I would like to provide you with some idea for consideration as although everyone here has been very gracious, we do need to be someplace else. Likely and sadly, separate locations for everyoneā€™s protection, possibly outside of this region. Thank you, Yang, that will be of great help as we move forward as that provides greater opportunities for everyone.

After the aircraft leveled-off, the co-pilot came back and provided Deep Beak with a backpack and returned to the front of the aircraft. Deep Beak opened the backpack and smiled. Yes, Yellow Nape know how to treat one with respect! In the back section he found three newer laptops, and in front, on top, the flight tickets that he had requested and under it the payment, plus! He smiled.

Priscilla answered her phone, it was her assistant who stated that Fred Grey with Parrot AP for her. Priscilla asked, which line Fred was calling in on. She stated he is on our main line. Thank you, Anna.

Well, hello Fred; Iā€™m assuming you are calling about Green Pheasant fire? I am Priscilla, looks like a total loss Lady! Define total loss, Fred! The building is little more than a pile of glowing cinders. Priscilla allowed for a long pause ā€“ Fred broke in, asking if she was there. Fred, we had staff in that building! We havenā€™t been able to contact any of them! Please tell me what you know! Well lady, my contact in the Fire Brigade stated that it is likely the result of a natural gas leak as they needed to shut that off to be able to gain some control. And, according the Law office across the street, the explosion occurred with flames from the bottom to the top. He also stated that a cleaning crew had been there and left around 18:30. Fred, just after they had left, was our last contact with our staff as they transmitted several documents sets around 18:40. Anything else? Well, they are saying that it will be several weeks before they know anymore as they will have to swift though the remains of the building.

Priscilla, do you have the names of your staff. Another long phase ā€“ Fred, I do not even have any confirmation, nor have we contacted their family members. I understand Priscilla, sorry, but I had to ask! Understand Fred, she said. Priscilla, you will call me if you have any more. Yes, I will Fred and please, the same from your side.

As the Yellow Nape, King Air leveled off, the IT leader call Julio. I will be sending a Work Order review later, but I knew you would want an update! Thatā€™s true, what do you have? Well, our list clearly defined what had been trashed. The equipment upgrades will clearly increase their response time and provide some additional protection. We will need to look at upgraded several aspects of our defense system and increase the speed in which we can retaliate. Frederick has been testing some kind of ā€˜guillotineā€™ concept as part of the detection and lockdown segment, plus consider automating larger sections. Just my two cents, but I think we need to consider being much faster at damaging their PLC /core links, targeting vastly slowing their process response time.

As Julio looked up, he saw Frederickā€™s shadow and smiled, Iā€™m hope you have been there long enough to get all of that? Frederick smiled and asked the team if any of them had been able to determine who they had been targeting regarding CERNsā€™ project(s). Screams Nation State to me Sir. Frederick asked, like Japan. Correct region, but larger. Oh-really, thatā€™s interesting. As Frederick and Julio exchanged knowing looks! Anything else? The junior members spoke-up: Looks like they have been playing with your ā€˜Project Software,ā€™ Sir, I was able to make a copy for you to examine. Iā€™m guessing that they are using segments as part of their reverse tracing software. Interesting Frederick stated.

When we had them up, we ran a couple of trails and have timing results you will want to see. Even running in the background, they are about twice as fast as they had been. Looks like your comments regarding needing to up our game is real, Frederick stated. Enjoy your flight guys, see you tomorrow.

With what you learned from Deep Beak and what our guys found, clearly, we have a big guy stomping about the playing field. Julio considered his words; ā€œWhen we are working in territory that is reserved for the alt rich and Nation State, we need to be far less visible, ever more nibble and lighting fast, as they will kill us without thinking twice.ā€

'Boats I don't know where you are going with this, but I want the book when it comes out! And seeing as how we are such good friends, I want a clawsigned copy.

Now THIS is living... involved in all kinds of high-level stuff with minimal expectations of precision or punctuality. The Rickeybird packed his most prized duds and accessories. He had always believed that his main impact was established in the first few seconds of his appearance, with his exotic eyepatches, international wardrobe, and highly eccentric socializing habits. He has overjoyed to receive a stylish courier-delivered note from Sara saying that a suitably sophisticated and capable female "assistant" going by the name of "Chile" would be appearing to assist the Rickeybird in carrying out his mysterious mission. The old debauchee chuckled with delight as he imagined himself at the center of high-level machinations, enabled and accented by a lovely assistant. Julio and Sara always appreciated the importance of a lovely and efficient jewel attachee to ensure that these things went smoothly. The Rickeybird had a reputation of being an 'enforcer' with power and panache, but those who dealt with him closely knew he had a tendency to be easily distracted by pretty hens and potent potables. Anyone employing him was wise to provide those influences upfront: that would be Chile's job.

The knock on the door was absolutely melodic. The old conure's heart quickened a bit as he strode across the floor and swung open the door. AHHHHH, glory! She was a Patagonian rooster's dream! A stunning little Purple-Crowned Lorikeet stood before him, her brilliant colors perfectly stroked and shined, a small diamond-studded briefcase tucked beneath her wing. Were those some gold-leaf-tipped green chile seeds tucked into her body cntour feathers here and there? YES! The Rickeybird nodded happily and stepped back, showing her that her looks alone had earned her admission!

The next day (or or so) and night (or so) were a happy tumble of appearances at the most renowned (and reviled) hotspots and hangouts on Chile's list. She guided her fabled figure-head here and there to maximum impact. They had only to show up... the Rickeybird would set a tone of just the right mixture of menace, camaraderie, and membership in the "good ol' bird" network. His presence, plus Chile's arsenal of information and "intell" soon resulted in a priceless tapestry of facts and figures, all safely tucked away in Chile's little case. The powers-that-be would be pleased.

Both the Rickeybird and the diminutive little Mata-Hari hen were delighted with their mutual productivity. Some rest-and-recreation was in order. The pair returned to his hotel room. He found a spot on the balcony, in the sun, and began to preen his impressive shoulder-epaulet feathers...

Chile knew that this little enterprise had earned her a new stature in the Yellow Nape Law constellation, and she was pleased and proud. She approached the preening Rickeybird, thinking she just might help him... her little chest feathers shimmied as she drew close. She was an impressionable young hen who enjoyed titillating herself sometimes... now, she imagined one of those fabulously sexy closings in James Bond movies where the music swells and the scene blurs and...

As Miss Black entered the Kanas City Hanger, the receptionist greeter her. I see you will be traveling with us and then internationally. As part of your international check-in, we will need your passport, your hand purse, carry-on, laptop, mobile phone and any other metal items placed in these two containers. They will be TAS inspected and returned prior to loading your aircraft. Thank you.

The receptionist approached Mrs. Black and asked her to follow her to the TAS room. In the room, she was told that her mobile phone was found to have been altered and in following protocol, it was shredded and a replacement phone with your stored items saved on it is with your items. Also, I have been informed that your plane is waiting for you and our staff are preloaded your belongings at this time. Mrs. Black stepped into the King Air. As the aircraft climbed out of Kanas City, she turned-on the new phone and checked the listed contacts, a chill came over her.

Unknown to Mrs. Black, her phone had in fact been placed in a FedEx shipping box, prelabeled, prepaid and placed in the outgoing carrier /mail. FedEx picked up the outgoing boxes and by 1200 hours, the box was on its way to Pensacola, Florida. Arriving prior to 15:00 hours, the box was opened with great care and the phone inspected. The tech removed the cover and quickly found the multipurpose device. The tech contacted her source within the CIA and stated that she had a rare device that had been a CIA device, but had clearly been tampered with. She provided the serial number of the device; her contact provided her an address and recommendation to ship it ASAP. The Tech placed the phone on a charger and contacted her source within Yellow Nape, while she prepared to ship it.

Frederick walked into the IT office and sat down at the workbench. The group quickly formed around him as he opened his laptop and displayed the new PC board layouts, six in total. The components are on-order, but we will likely need to build these four items and assure that they sit proud of the board to minimize heat build-up. You will also note the eight heatsinks that sit off to the side. Here are the changes to the software, note the automation added at these points, it still needs to be checked. Iā€™m thinking of an additional cabinet to allow greater airflow.

Oh, and here is what our friends are doing with my software, note the information links that are added here and here, and language changes in this area. They are clearly a search and destroy type of enhancement. However, note here where the search limits are poorly defined, likely why they hit us! Accuracy at highspeed is where they failed. Here is my fix for that, note how it is scalable. Sir, with the added speed they have now, does this mean they will be ever more prone to missing targets? Frederick eased back; yes, it does my good friends, yes it does. Frederick wondered whether he should call the General and elected not to. Not a good idea to tell them we had been looking deeper than we should have!

Julio answered his phone, I had been expecting your call Mrs. Black! Yes, your phone. You should have trashed it when I told you too. Iā€™m not 100% certain, but Iā€™m fairly sure of who, had been monitoring you! I assure you are much safer now as they have lost all track of you. Where? Clearly someplace safe. Currently you are headed to Cleveland, where the plane will perform ā€˜a touch and go,ā€™ then quickly to Toronto and from there you will be heading to Sweden. You will have all new documentation and a Swedish Passport provided when you land in Toronto. If you are not satisfied with the arrangement, let me know, I will have you driven to Finland and released near the Finland /Russia boarder. We will talk before your plane leaves Toronto.

In Toronto, the FBO staff had been busy clearing Mrs. 'Blackwell' for arrival and then loading the flight to Sweden! Arrangements had also been made to clear her at the FBO's hanger to easy passage. As the King Air lifted quickly out of Cleveland and accelerating toward Toronto the additional power of the Blackhawk engines came into action cutting near twenty minutes off the flight time. The Canadian official completed Mrs. Blackwell's documents!

Priscilla opened the mid-month meeting stating: Gentlemen, I have to admit, Iā€™m tired. Looking back over the first half of this month, we have had far more than our share of stuff happening. Both Great Stuff and really Ugly Stuff! Within a couple weeks we will have our quarterly managers meeting, between now and then, Julio and Sara are scheduled to tour her region, we have another update to our software system Worldwide and Iā€™m hearing that IT is working on another major update to our three servers. Plus, we are days away from the new KLM 747ā€™s joining our organization. In addition, the World is show signs of getting by this terrible virus.

I met with our financial staff, they are telling me that our cash flow is excellent and that we have been developing a nice reserve to support us if the big programs go South. But the concenting part is that our fuel requirements for the 747ā€™s last year was greater than our yearly income in 2018. Point is, we are play with numbers of scale beyond what we have ever deal with. We need to keep close track of our spending and assure that we have documents to charge against. Example, and thank you Frederick, our recent ā€˜maintenance workā€™ completed for one of our clients. Iā€™m told that we have already been paid for that work! That said, we have also lost a facility in Japan, and the costs of cleaning that up and moving on, at this point, we have spent more in that region in this last quarter than we had income in the prior two years!

We have the reserves to cover those expensive, but we really need to look at ways of avoiding those costs. Now Julio has come to a bit of an epiphany regarding where we are today and what we need to consider as we move forward. If I may: ā€œWhen we are working in territory that is reserved for the alt rich and Nation State, we need to be far less visible, ever more nibble and lighting fast, as they will kill us without thinking twice.ā€ Did I state that correctly, Julio?

Considering the last couple of months, I can fully agree with Julioā€™s assiment. To that end, Frederick has been working on a serious upgrade to our security software that should allow us to be more nibble and much faster. But what do we need to do to become ā€œfar less visibleā€ and still increase our business with our growing client base! That is an area that we need to place our thinking!

Julio, I understand that you have some changes that you are considering, would you like to share them now? Thank you, Priscilla. First is a bit radical, but the logic works in my mind. Iā€™m planning on contracting with Deep Beak and his partner to complete the software upgrade for all of our customers and offices. They are technically capable and clearly understand low profile. Then, sadly, Iā€™m ending Rickeybird and Chilies work in Switzerland as we have obtained the information needed and any more time will heighten bringing noticed. Then we have the staff coming out of Japan. Following Saraā€™s recommendation, we would have Yangā€™s assistant replace Sara in Switzerland, Yang, here in Atlanta and their junior member with your group Priscilla. In Japan, we should consider closing the Northern office and moving the staff back to the South facility that should stimulate business in that area.

Frederick, do you have anything more than what I have covered? Thank you, Priscilla as you have covered most everything. I find myself fully agreeing with Julioā€™s assessment of our current environment and what I have been working on supports it. One of the concerning findings was the use of our software, to act as an enhanced search and destroy unit. This finding alone supports a need to change direction, which follows Julio assessment.

Julio called Sara and confirmed the approval of her recommendation for Natā€™s replacement and updated her of where the other staff members would be relocated. Timing should be based around not causing any notice of the movement. Also, contact Rickeybird and have him at Priscillaā€™s offices ASAP, as their work is completed and I am deeply concerned they will become noticed. Looking forward to our travels.

While reviewing his messages, he noted the tech review of the device found in the mobile phone and the likely source of who altered the device. Julio noted the time and called Mrs. Blackwell, she answered and said how sorry that she had not listened early-on and that she fully agreed with his plan. Julio thanked her for understanding and ending the call as she was prepping for her next flight.

As Sara answered her phone, she heard Priscilla asking her if she had spoken to the folks in Japan recently and if so, any updates on the fire? Sara knowing Priscilla well, knew that the call was regarding the fire. Yes, I had just completed a call there and although the Fire Bragada was stating that they are still weeks away from any statements, our staff are saying that the fire was so hot that with the exception of heavier metal parts, there was little else other than ashes. That is so sad as that building had wonderful architecture. Sara, I believe it is time for a news release. I have sent you a basic release and with Yangā€™s input, I want you to provide Fred Grey with the Parrot AP the release today. I have included his contact information. At most, ā€˜we are able to release that we have three members that are missing and we cannot release any names at this time. Do Not provide anyone else that release, not even anyone else in the Parrot AP office. I promised him first release.

I understand that I will be seeing Rickeybird this afternoon? Sara stated that is correct, he is likely getting ready to travel to the airport later this morning. Good, Iā€™m guessing that he has been providing you updates as to his finding, please forward them to the Partners when you receive todayā€™s comments. Sara, for your information, you should know that corporately, we met with members of the FBI in Altana regarding leaks at both locations. Know that you may be visited by Interpole in the next few days. Be fully honest with them regarding our operations there and your involvements in that project. Less company inside information, provide them what they ask for.

Julio was busy testing Fredericks newest security software and the operating system. His testing found a few very minor linkage issues between the software packages. Well, what do you think, Frederick asked? Iā€™m impressed Frederick. I havenā€™t looked at the server software packages yet, but if they are as tight as the user version, they should be impressive. I have marked the few small issues I found.

I believe that I told you that I have a software tracker on Mrs. Blackwell phone and Iā€™m expecting her to ā€˜runā€™ shortly after she enters Sweden, likely Norway, then Poland, then Africa. Any plans to stop her Julio? No, where and who she makes contact with will be more important both short and long term. Also, with the information from her mobile phone that now makes four links to that Nation State.

Julio, I do have one question regarding Deep Beakā€™s contract; If I recalled correctly you included our offices as part of their work. Does that include the corporate locations? No, Frederick, only the non-partner facilities and our customers with the exception of the two project locations. Julio, you commonly have three justifications, so what is the third one? Julio smiled, Frederick, you taught me how important it is to keep staff /contractors busy as a way of knowing what they are doing, correct? Letā€™s just say, we are keeping them busy!

Frederick, have you read Dr. Saltinus J. Amazonas, paper that Sara had provided? The one that studied "Perpetual Motion and the Display of Monopole Behavior of 2 Opposed Lorikeets"? What are you taking about Julio? Iā€™ll print a copy for you. I read it and you may want to look at its approach to the issue of G-force as it appears to be lower, much lower.

On a separate subject, Julio, I need to contact the General and Blue Front Enterprises regarding our meeting with the FBI this morning. I would appreciate it if you would sit in on those calls. If you are ready, Frederick, Iā€™m open now. Frederick lifted Julioā€™s phone and entered the Generalā€™s numberā€¦
