While waiting isn't super fun, it's for the best anyway. Settlement date for my first house is on July 26. After that, I'll still have to buy his aviary/enclosure, playstand, and food.

It seems like with every passing week, I just keep feeling the need to go bigger and bigger for Kalani's cage.
Finances will be tight after settlement next week, but I'm really leaning towards this "cage."

Thanks guys. Being a single guy has it's benefits lol.

My final decision will be made in about a week and a half.

If i go with this model, rather than the 7'2" x 5'2" x 6'7" model, the trade-off will likely be the size of the play-stand I start with.

That cage is enormous and should have it's own Zip Code! May as well go as big as you want now, the playstand can always be upgraded at a later date

Found a couple of photos with macaws in them for size reference of the cage dimensions. Still hoping to go this route.

So big day today.
I closed on the house. Started to move some stuff over today. I'll get fully moved in over the weekend.
Kalani will be 20 weeks old tomorrow. (home in about 4 weeks)


On facebook, I found a random sale, where I was able to get a discount on the 7'2 x 5'2 x 6'8 aviary. A little smaller than the above, but I got about $350 off list price (about $850 less than the above aviary would have cost).
Anyway, it has been ordered. Here is the aviary with a blue and gold and with a hyacinth for size reference.
