I love them too; the pictures always make my week. With that being said, I'm ready for him to be grown! I can't wait to bring him home!

The cuteness factor is off the charts!

Kalani is 11 weeks and 1 day old.
The breeder tried to see if Kalani is interested in perching yet. He was not, so the breeder obliged, and gave him back his blankie.

Here's the breeder dealing with an egg. I would be so stressed out!

Thanks! He is getting to be a BIG boy. This round of pictures was the first time he has "adult-looking" features. He even has real wings and a tail! I have a feeling he's going to be fearless!

I'm new to this place, and just noticed this thread...
WOW!
You have taken me back 32 years to the days when I first got my baby Patagonian. I was brand new to birds (unlike you) and it was quite the adventure. I remember times when I would just sit and stare sat him, wondering what would happen next, what mistake I might make, what he might do or think or need. In the decades that followed, times were good and bad and in-between, but he was a constant. Now, he's supposedly approaching his species-expectancy, but hey... he's as beautiful and busy as ever. Who knows? I show a lot more age than he does. Dang parrot. ANYWAY, I wish you well in your new life, and I thank you for letting me re-experience that early excitement and anticipation. Brilliant threads, and beautifully done, and beautifully followed. I'm a fan.

(oh, and the Rickeybird, too)
