Yet Again...

PATAGONIANS AROUND THE WORRRRLD!
This Polish darling (called "Burrowing Parrot", and/or Konura patagońska in that land) is a BABY... 6 months or less, as evidenced by the horn-colored beak. Ahhh, I remember when the Rb looked like this, and cooed and gurgled just as sweetly, long before he became a screaming, macho rooster!

Scared the crud out of me at the very end! Great save servant lol..

Who wooda thunk that Rickeybirds can be soooooo..endearing?
That was very sweet. Take some life lessons RB!

I know, Jim!

This is so typical of Patagonians I have known, or known of... babies and adults... they're just not nimble climbers and swingers, not with those skinny little pink feet. I guess they spend most of their time (in their native Patagonia) flying and running!

And another installment in the series...
PATAGONIANS AROUND THE WORRRRLD!
This scene is somewhere in southern Argentina, I believe, where Patagonians are common in flocks and often kept as pets. This title translates roughly as "screwed up Loro Barranquero [Burrowing Parrot]". That's what they're called there. This 'rude' bird hurls insults (ugly, stupid, fat, and other things I can't make out) in Spanish at his patient parront, Petero, who responds with comical astonishment.

I feel this man's pain. In any language, I feel this man's pain.
Yeah, the babies are cute and the hens are sweet but the roosters are the same when it comes to
"PATAGONIANZ AROUNNND THE WORLLLD."
~rolling eyes~
I live with one, you know.

This photo was anonymously snapped at the hothouse where it seems a floor vent has been installed. Scandalous!

Hotsie-totsie! That's one talented hen!!

And speaking of talented hens...

Next in the series...

PATAGONIANS AROUND THE WORRRRLD!
WHAT A SHOW!!! This is from Argentina, most likely. It's hard to believe that this is the same species as the Rickeybird... so clever, obedient... so QUIET! It's a hen, of course!!

Lea.................... sung to the tune of Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.................. HEAT VENTS are a HEN's Best Friend. lolololol I'm too funny.

And that Patagonian hen is a marvel. Can we trade the Rickeybird in on a Patagonian like that? No? ~sigh~ Yes, dear, very well, dear, of course not, dear.

I nominate this Greek video for the MOST ANTI-CLIMACTIC clip ever!!
Definitely not worthy of Greece's magnificent history of Theater. You'll see what I mean... maybe you'll join me in yelling "JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!"

Me, too, Jim. It's just so interesting. Languages and environments change, but the parrots are always... parrots!

And now...

Okay, make that 16.
There is a torrid love affair going on in a small Malta chateau between... a man and his hen.
"Bewsee" is Maltese for "Kissy".
If this shows us nothing else about people around the world, it clearly demonstrates that we're all happy to make fools of ourselves to profess our devotion to our parrots.
