If there’s a gender pool going - I’ll go against the odds and bet on “Saltine” :)

I think just keeping it "Salty" would be great!
(for boy or girl)

grinn, I hope it will turn out 'male'- that way I can keep rolling my eyes at you two and *sigh* "Ugh....men...."
on the other hand you already make a great pair so ... nothing will change ;)

I say dude!

...Hey we have some smart, creative folks on here how about some ideas for new tricks for Salty? ...

Since parrots can see in the UV range, I wonder if you can teach Salty to do a card trick by marking the back of the cards with UV or fluorescent ink (like they use at amusement parks and chuck-e-cheese?

How about teaching him a somersault?

So who will make odds on the male/female issue? Informed Amazanyacs, like 'Boats , are nulled out. It's better than 2 to 1 since I know what his clutch mate looked like.

Sassi, I like that idea of marked cards! Bring in lots of barroom bets that would!

Tonights training session was one of those that I wished I had video'd. We did every single trick Salty knows, even the obscure ones that we don't do very often and he was literally running and excited hopping from each one to the next. Even the tricks that I know he is not crazy about doing, like playing dead and picking the Kings out of a deck of cards. Takes about 20 minutes to run through them all.

Here is Salty enjoying his Bird Day muffin for his 3rd bird day. We all had some, even Tinker.

Well stated, sometimes it is just better, as an Amazon Snob, to hold back and allow others to proclaim their opinions. That said, I hope you noted my 'Thanks' on those Posts that defined him as a Male.

A toast to Sir Salty! May this Rooster Rule Forever.

'Boats it was truly noted.

Christa, by the time he is 18 I am hoping for a book deal !
Working title: "Life With a Bit of Salty" a book loosely based on true events or truly based on loose events.
