LOL RICKEYBIRDS
*c o n t i n u e d*

The Rickeybird made a resolution to be more civic-minded in 2017.

Kentuckienne... the bell is now on cage-top to avoid any REPEATS of yesterday's chaos, when he was clanging the bell endlessly and wouldn't let me get in there to take it out.

He wound up tossing it overboard in the vid, but that was just excitement. He wanted it back immediately. Sometimes he just "kisses" it (bonks it gently in the same way he bonks my lips with his beak). He loves his bell, which his Uncle Wrench and Cousin Salty sent him for Christmas.

Anyway, this is today's rendition of what we endured all Christmas Day yesterday.

Umm, I did send you the most melodious of the 3 that we had. LOL I can see that my nephew Rickybird really likes his new toy! Almost as much as the demon ball. It's important that presents are appreciated!

Charlotte has this cowbell she bangs when she's upset or throwing a tantrum. I'm actually glad of it, as she does that instead of screaming. It's a fair trade, I think.

Wrench, he loves the bell. He tries to get it into his cage. But it's way too heavy. He seems to plot to throw it on the ground, then jump down and try to maneuver it inside. The Missus says he can't get flight-lift while holding it, so he sets about trying to climb up and in with it. So far no success. She called me in to his room the other day to watch him try to climb while hauling the bell, drop the bell, hop down and try again and again, screeching and yelling NO NO NO NO, just like in that vid. Then he hopped into the cage and just yelled at it, like GET IN HERE! I feel no guilt whatsoever about how much I enjoyed seeing all this, and I didn't even mind the noise for once. I may be imagining things, but I tell you, I think he was humiliated in front of his rival. Finally he gave up and went to his hen, my wife. I indulged in a big belly laugh right in his face (beak?). Little bounder.

You know every once in awhile you have to give the RB credit. He has tenacity, an admirable characteristic in any living thing, and the ability to make us laugh, a useful trait in both pets and children, or why else keep them?

I absolutely love what you said, Mr. GoodWrench. He's a live wire, for sure.

And anybody who can't laugh at him must be missing a funny bone.

You got it, Ms. K. Oh, no, he'd never repeat anything embarassing.

Mr GoodWrench... actually, in reality, he would never snoop this quietly...

At least he doesn't do what Goofy does. I don't particularly enjoy half the neighborhood hearing his porn star routine.

Do you have a video? Of course, I mean a G-rated *BLEEPED* version?
Does he provide the wacka-wacka boom-boom music, too?

I have been trying for years to get it on video. Trouble is that it's his "you're not paying attention to me" routine, so as soon as I get close enough to record, he's happy and stops. I need to get a nanny cam set up to catch him.
