I haven't updated yet with the latest versions of their tricks, though I'm really looking forward to sharing the new stuff. But here's a link to one of the threads with videos of their ring antics. http://www.parrotforums.com/eclectus/60496-jolly-maya-training-update-blooper-reel.html
Sweet! Does it sound like he's trying to imitate your voice specifically?

Bravo, Mr. Biggles! Great performance! Such a handsome fellow and so clever!
I can't stop giggling at Mr. Biggles' reluctance to perform, he obviously knows the trick well but is concerned about the availability of the reward.
I am sitting down and just listening to all the lovely sounds coming from Mr Biggles and in the middle of all the Zon there were for the very first time ever 3 very distinct attempts at saying; Hello....first time I heard it I thought I was imagining things but then he garbled another few words of zon and there it was again in a very soft sweet voice clear as a bell this time he said; "Hello" and again he repeated it after another outburst of Zon...I will now have to watch what I say in front of him hee hee...I must say, though it was lovely to hear the hello I think his Zon garble and sounds are Adorable too and I could sit and listen forever to all the different sounds he makes
Thanks Anansi but I cant take the credit for that, he sort of surprised me and trained himself to do that...first time he did it I was just holding the ball in my hand and was too slow for his liking bringing it over to him to play our usual basket ball game so he flew to my hand and took the ball from me and flew back to the basket with it...I was flabberghasted so I tried it again and he repeated it after that I realised he had the idea ot maybe I should say had come up with the idea of showing me he could do this...prior to that I had been moving the basket farther and farther from him so he would have to make the effort to get to it (which was wrench13's idea afew pages and posts back here in this thread)...somewhere along the way of moving the basket farther from him he began to do a wingflap while holding the ball on his way to the out of reach basket to drop the ball into it. I have no idea how to actually train a bird to do this it just sort of happenedHahahahahaha! Oh, I love it! Go Mr. Biggles!
What an amazing job you've done with his training, Mary! Mr. Biggles' flighted fetching skills are most impressive!
