and you got him for Steven, right? That's what cats do, they tame all of the people and cast a spell on everybody.....

Just to warn you ahead of time, I'll be buggering you about photos of Ringo relentlessly.

I have this vivid image in my head now. Ant is trying to read in bed, pillow propped up,....here comes Ringo, grabs a strand of Ants hair and pulls gently. :54:

Now Ant wants to sleep. It's a VERY hot night, as it's summer in S Africa. Ringo plops himself lovingly next to your face and/or neck and stretches out. He suddenly appears to be a 1 meter heating cushion resting comfy while Ant is dripping with sweat.

Not an easy task trying to read in bed with a kitten let alone sleep.
Ringo slept with me for a while then spent the night with Steven

Imagine how warm he will keep me in winter

If you had told me two weeks ago we would be adopting a kitten I would have told you, you were nuts.
I briefly had interaction with cats previously, but was never a cat lover.

Ringo has changed my mind completely

Ringo slept with me a while last night and practically spent the rest of the night with Steven. I guess he is giving us turns.

I was NEVER EVER a cat person, but am totally one today

Looks like Mishka is gonna show him the ropes pretty soon he'll be riding Ringo around telling him where to go hahahha

Ugh I hate fleas- this last year our ginormous 18 lb fat cat, Henry, got INFESTED with fleas (my fault for not keeping up with his monthly flea meds) and the flea infestation was also INSIDE our house I have scars all up and down BOTH legs, ankle to calf because they ate me alive!! They never bit my husband because he used this soap that had peppermint oil in it- fleas don't like peppermint!!

Hey come to think of it I am the only female in the house GREAT !!!

When Steve got home from work, Ringo would not leave his side, how cute.
When I got home he was all over me following me everywhere.
Ringo already knows Mishka's routine, he sat under Mishka's cage, knowing he will soon come out.
The moment Mishka was taken out, Ringo sat on the base of Mishka's playpen, just watching him.
When Steven went to shower he took Mishka as usual, Ringo of course followed them.
Later on when Mishka was on my lap, Ringo lay quietly next to us, happy and content.

Mishka is begining to say Kitty Cat, we first called Ringo that before naming him.
Mishka says "Come here Kitty Cat I want to kiss you"
I hope that never happens !!!!

Oh yeah and he slept with me till 9.30pm then going into Steven's room for the remainder of the night.
I AM NOT COMPLAINING LoL

I am happy to say Ringo and Mishka are getting along even better than I ever expected them to. No matter how close up they are they both remain calm. (more than what I can say for myself)

Ringo often sits/lays near Mishka's cage keeping an eye on his older brother.

Mishka has got Ringo's meowing down to perfection. I though Ringo was in distress this morning, hearing the meowing and ran into the lounge. There sat Mishka innocently meowing.... so cute !!!

Normally it's Ringo who follows Mishka around. Yesterday morning at 4.30am I placed Mishka on his potty... he jumped off, pooped on the floor (never done that before LoL) and ran towards Ringo who took cover under a cupboard.
I keep the camera handy at all times now, manged to get one but the light was not good.

After showering and flapping his wings beautifully, which Mishka takes as a work out LoL, I placed Mishka is his cage and left the door open. Mishka quickly climbed down and sat under his cage. Ringo was watching and ran towards the cage... this is what happened.

Mishka and Ringo have become best friends.

I was thinking, Ant, you're going to have to encourage Stevaliekie and Sean to dye their hair grey so they match their brothers.

What a pleasure it must be to come home to Mishka and Ringo at the end of the day and enjoy them playing like this! It's so special and heart-warming to see two creatures getting along so well, even though they're not 'supposed' to. See what love can do?

I guess they reckon they are "family" looking exactly the same colour
