Ah now the friendship has begun.

Never give up. It can take months and even years to break through but this is worth it and their quality of life skyrockets when we overcome things they suffered in the past.

Breakfast:

Granadilla, birdie bread mix, chop veggies, and some banana.

Reaction:

Positive. All breakfast bits flung as far and wide as possible.

Conclusion:

The wider the breakfast fling, the better.

Sorry for the overload of pictures, am just appreciating how much our grey is changing, relaxing, destroying things and letting his real personality come thru.

After every snack, Kevin loves a 10 minute power nap. Then itā€™s back to madness and mayhem.

Today the snobbery in Greytown has gone up to another level. All favorites were summarily dumped, i knew what HRH wanted. He loves the birdie bread I make. Once i couldnā€™t cajole any longer, on a silver platter birdie bread full of veggies and goodies was served.

The waitressā€™ tip was cut out of the service fee.

As the staff consider the mid-day meal and look on to the joy of the afternoon nap! The circles of life with its brief moments of comfort bracketed by naps! :D

Heā€™s such a character. We are open to consider another grey. Iā€™ve never had two before although Iā€™ve had 2 birds before but never 2 greys at once. i understand the rules of quarantine and introductions, would like to hear from any of the esteemed bird forum regarding offering the Mayor if Greytown a tenant in the condo. Of course in a separate unit as Kevin will not share [emoji23]

There is a classification of mental health that defines the need for rejection and punishment. Its possible that being owned (by choice) two Greys is also a proper definition.
Humor aside, and IMHO, I would allow a full year to pass to assure Kevin is fully assure of his place in this new World of his.

If it is an issue of a lost soul that is in need of a home, well that changes everything. Remember, it is best to let the new member choose you (if possible).
