I'm sorry, but you really have to laugh at some of these things, like when they have a sweet blue and gold macaw looking for a new home, up to date on all shots with current rabies vaccine. Really?!?? hmmm... LOL

WHAT??? Parrots can't get rabies??? So all my parrots rabies shots have been in vain!!

Yeah, I think it would be pretty moot. Anything that has rabies that would bite the bird to transmit it would probably have killed it from the initial bite.

The worst part about that ad. Someone out there is likely looking at that and thinking, Oh, that great - they clearly care about this Parrot and life is going to be truly wonderful cause they care. Can't be a scam, cause they care, etc....

This needs to be added to that Thread on how to spot a Scam!

Avian polyoma is the virus that parrots are usually vaccinated against.

Yes some do get that but even that isn't entirely effective and anyone actually selling a bird vaccinated for it would be specific.
