Barry the baby blue and gold! He has been incredible. He is so sweet and a total cuddle bug. He loves to hang out in his aviary by the window, loves to eat, he's relatively quiet, and incredibly messy! I have some concerns on whether he's plucking already?! Or if being 5 months old he's not fully feathered? I will try and get some pics, basically he has some spots on his yellow that look like down feathers? Like he's patchy? Hard to explain, I'm praying it's his age and not a plucking thing! The feathers on the ground I've found have dried out white ends they aren't bloody or pink or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What a lovely guy you’ve got there! Picture would definitely be the most helpful thing in determining if he’s plucking already, though, it’s not likely since he’s so young.

Yeah would be very unusual for a baby to actually be plucking instead of just learning how to preen himself.
