Thank you Alle. :) Haha, yeah probably! ^^

Photos of the chick! Loki is calling him a Squeaky Toy... He just sounds like he has a REALLY bad case of the hiccups haha. Much more of a Hiccup than Pazu ever was.. but boy is he VOCAL!!! And loves to explore (in a running manner) much more than Pazu did. Honestly, he reminds me of an Indian Runner Duck lol.

And some not so fantastic news: I have put an Ad up for Pazu. He is fully weaned: whooo! ...And only 14 +5 weeks.... -_-

I love him to bits, but he's just so sensitive to negativity, and current circumstances of my Aunty in Hospital, Loki mourning his Father, My physical issues, and our daughter being smack-dab in the middle of angry tantrum outbursts age.. it's just not fair to Pazu. He's screaming even worse now because he doesn't like anyone being upset. The poor boy..

But I am going to be EXTREMELY picky with who he goes home with (and he won't be available to leave us until the end of next week).

Aw, good luck placing Pazu. I know Ekkies are known to be a sensitive species. I'm sure you'll choose the perfect home for him! :)

Thank you Julie. He's still here, but he's been moved outside into one of the spare aviaries. I'll try and take a photo today. He's been extremely well behaved since he's been staying outside and he's actually, surprisingly, really enjoying being close to all the Kakariki and the Princess Parrots. :)

After the Christmas Season ends, if we still have Pazu, the GOOD Pet Store/Saddlery/Feed Supplies will be interested in either selling Pazu for us, or buying him as a Store-bird for them to keep, which I know he would love. (it's a GREAT Pet Store, we know the owner and all their birds are really healthy, happy and well looked after.) They have one other Store-bird who is a very friendly Alexandrine, so I'm hoping if they take Pazu as another Store-bird that him and the Alex will get along.

Ok! Photos of the 'Squeaky Toy'
Squeaky Toy is actually very quiet, even when he talks now, the volume is oh so low!
Let's hope he stays that way haha

Such a little sweetheart Liana! Another cutie! That would be great if Pazu could be the store bird with the Alexandrine. Good luck with that. For now, it's good to hear he likes it in the aviary near the smaller birds. :)

Loki and I took the other Eclectus chick out an hour ago and it's another boy! (Drats! I was hoping for a girl) He's got some coloured feathers and a little bit of down, but not much, so he's pretty much BALD! I think Sen has been plucking him because of the warm weather. He is around 4 weeks old, I'll do the proper counting later. Just thought you all deserved a little update :)

Another baby!!???:11: How cool is that? I am so hoping that my SI pair have babies, 2 clear clutches so far. The males feathering is improving drastically since I beefed up their diet with better pellets and lots of fresh though..... Keep your fingers crossed for Sydney and Flower! For awhile they acted like they needed marriage counseling:D

Thanks for the update, Liana! I hope Pazu finds the perfect home, I'm glad he's happy in the aviary with the smaller birds.

Squeaky Toy is just darling!

Thank you Julie! Yes it would be fantastic! I could visit him all the time! :p

Haha yes Sunset! And Sen is on another egg... she's having a big break after this! Oh yes! Diet is so crucial for Eclectus breeding, keep it up! :)
Hahaha, at least your missy didn't bite off her misters toe!

No worries Allee. Well if noone buys him for a long time, we may just keep him. He's beginning to copy other bird sounds, mainly the princesses and Kakariki. :p
Bloomin wild Galahs keep hanging around and annoying all our birds... *growls*

Update photos! He's so SMALL! I'll weigh him tomorrow, but he's around 8 weeks old I think, and yet he's nearly half the size of Pazu!
Granted Pazu is just a GIANT.... but he's so different! Squeaky Toy is so quiet..it's so nice. :)

Sweet pics, Liana! Nice to watch another grow.

Another little Sweetheart, Liana. He looks like he's really enjoying the attention.

Could you get a photo of the 'bloomin' wild galahs', Pretty Please?

I heard my first Eclectus scream this weekend. Oh my! I now have an idea of Pazu's tirades. Squeaker is a cutie!

Thanks Stephen! And there'll be another one soon ;) The 3rd baby hatched yesterday! Hope-hope-HOPING it's a girl this time!

Thanks Allee :) Haha, Been trying..and I shall keep trying.. they must see me through the window and take off before the camera can catch them...cheeky things!

Haha Taw...yeah..they can SCREAM! :S lol

Ok! Update on the Squeaky Toy! Been a while..and he's definitely smaller than Pazu. His green is much brighter than Pazu's, and the red under his wings in normal/shady light is a bright bright scarlet red, whereas Pazu's is the normal red. Squeaky's blue is also brighter... and he has red feathers on his chest..

Not sure if he might be a Cravat or a bit of a Chimera..? I don't know enough about those things so, maybe a bit of help would be nice?? :D

He is a cutie! A little red where it shouldn't be on baby boys or green on girls is normal sometimes way more than this boy has. Jolly had a ton of red feathers more than his breeder had ever seen on one of her babies before but he has molted it all out now.

With the Cravat it is a full bib or scarf looking amount of red around the neck that typically stays into adulthood.

Chimera (chimaera):
~(Genetics) an organism composed of two or more genetically distinct tissues, as an organism that is partly male and partly female, or an artificially produced individual having tissues of several species. Again the color would stay into adulthood.

So your boy just has a few "girlie" feathers that should go sometime during his first molt.:)

What a sweetheart! I just want to scoop him up for a cuddle, such a handsome little boy! My pair have 1 egg, hopefully this clutch is fertile! Thanks for the pictures Liana!

Beautiful pics of Sir Squeaky Toy! Such vibrant plumage!

Any update on Pazu? I'm missing that big fella.

And Laura, thank you for that info on cravats. I love learning new things. [emoji6]

Thank you for the update Liana! I always enjoy the Ekkie updates :). Pazu is so cute there, it's hard letting them go I'm sure.

Accidentally poisoned you with bleach?!? WTH?!?

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better now, though. But with friends like those...

Both Pazu and Sir Squeaky Toy are looking absolutely beautiful! Is Squeaky's relocation permanent?

Give Pazu a farewell scritch for me, please.
