Is the cost significantly lower when you build aviary cages rather than buying pre-fab? Or is the major benefit just that you can get it the exact shape and dimensions you want... I’m afraid if we make them just to save money, they’ll turn out all messy and homemade looking LOL!

Well they DO look messy. They really do. I’m building outside cages that are both large and temporary, and they really don’t build cages this long for birds so I haven’t been able to find anything that really works well. So I’m building lol.
