Well it's been a crazy month. On the whole things are going better with butch. I went I week and a half with ony a little nip. Tonight however he nailed me twice. I'm not sure why though. He still likes the "let-go" game but I don't play back. I found that he's more calm when moving him around if I out my hand on his shoulders.

I am concerned he might not be eating enough. He grabs his food and throws it at his face. Other times he just pulls out his bowl and throws it across the cage. He does love ravioli though.

He can be super cuddly though and likes sitting on my thigh leaning on me. That face is so sweet when he rests his head on my chest.

So I guess it's 2 steps forward one step back. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

My Toos have always been food throwers [maybe a 2 thing] I was a little worried also . I used to think [ your really going to throw that all over the place ? ] Sometimes I see them eating it from off the bottom. Sounds like things are going good [he likes you :) ]

Yeah and I must be tasty too. Lol

sassy you must remeber you have a hybrid too and every hybrid too i have met was exactly like butch in there attitudes and moments.. They are just way to wound up way to quickly. As for the food throwing they make ceramic crocks they have to put there head into to eat, its like foragaging for all of there food:). They are around $15 and are amazing, all my macaw have them.

Cool I will have to look for those. Hmm. He tends to be a dunker so might have to figure that one out.
