Ahh! A slithery invader!
Sorry! Photo dump! Lol
Unlike most women (most PEOPLE, actually) I really like snakes! So many people think they're slippery (NOT), evil (NOT), dangerous (NOT, unless you're a mouse or it's highly venomous), and ugly (that's what they think of you). They're cool animals even though I wouldn't want to have to feed one live mice.Hehe, many more fish and snakes
I know! It irks me so bad sometimes! All of mine eat frozen thawed rats luckily.Unlike most women (most PEOPLE, actually) I really like snakes! I once knew a sweet boa named Rocky Balboa. That's why I named my baby budgie Rocky BalBirden. The BalBirden part was also from the 2020 election. In February 2021 I got a pair of super cute tame male budgies, a blue one and a green one, from a local small scale breeder. It took me a while to think of good names for them. Naming a blue budgie is easy for me but I couldn't think of a good name for the green one. Finally I thought of Hunter and Beau Birden for President Joe's two sons. If people don't like the politics, I say "they're just BIRDS!". We call them "The Birden Boys" and such silly little boys they are!I know! It irks me so bad sometimes! They’ve seen me from afar holding snakes but I just handle the snakes where the birds can’t see me most of the time.As I always say to my birdies when they're upside down "Aha- I see your vent!"
I love your slithery friends, but aren't your birds scared of them? I thought small critters were afraid of them by instinct.
Nice try there Tony, hiding out with the budgies, but I spotted your fuzzy green butt!! And Tom is being just too cute for words todayView attachment 48240
When I brought Cheshire home, he was lovely, but proof that cups are not suitable.

Love plecos. I had a six inch one die years ago and flushed him down the toilet in my apartment but his armored body was so stiff it got stuck in the pipes. The superintendent didn't know and gave me a lecture about taking Metamucil.A rare sight, my female bristlenose pleco!

I enjoy making and remodelling toys too, though I am not NEARLY as productive as you are! My greatest achievement so far has been this spinning ride-on toy that I totally give Lilly Pilly credit for having invented. I was refilling her kabob thingy with fresh yucca chips one time, and Lilly jumped on it while I held it horizontally to do so, she overbalanced and spun around on it and seemed to love it, so with that as inspiration I set it up horizontally for her and she loved it - it must be a lorikeet thing because now Lovejoy loves his too! Thanks
The first one went to Ryuk and Sheer Khan and the second to Tony.
I try to make 3-5 new toys each week.

Thank you so muchI am absolutely in love with your birds, your snakes and your fish!
Your tank is amazing, as are your set-ups for your lovely, lucky birds
I used to keep snakes before I moved up here, an ex and I had a pair of Burmese pythons who were huge. He ended up with them in the break-up.
I brought a Red-tailed boa up here with me when I moved, and all he would eat was live rats. I found out when I tried to get him one that rats are illegal here in Alberta
He ate mice after that until he passed away several years later.
My Red-lored is named after him, his name was Kimera
I'm so glad I saw this thread, and I agree with Mart - more photo dumps, pretty please?
You MUST post more pictures! lolThank you so much
I used to have a Red tailed boa too, his name was Xavier, I’ll post pics of him! Sorry to hear of his passing, they are amazing and beautiful creatures!
I guess I can’t post more pics
