Elrond is gorgeous! What species is he?

Your Bettas (both male and female) are gorgeous as well. That is a wonderful picture of Edwin, I'm sorry for your loss:(

And Hela looks like there was a smile on that adorable face:)

He’s a ball python

I’ve had a few bettas before Edwin too, I’ll post them next photo dump! They have poor genetics due to inbreeding so their lifespans are pretty short, especially in longer finned bettas.

I love how they smile! She was kinda chubby when I got her, boy did she hold onto that fat! Lol.

I love when bettas swim near the surface and you get those gorgeous reflections!

Another awesome dump, @zERo, but I love that pic of your four budgies devouring that millet especially 😍 What an amazing image, you must've been thrilled to have captured it!

Well I most just name the bettas, it’s too hard to tell most species apart. I’m thinking about naming the plecos as they can live over a decade!

I had a pleco that lived around 7 years, he was huge when he passed. His name was Jaws..lol

Probably a common or sailfil? My dad had two of them a few years ago.

I'm sure he was a common. I think...lol

I've seen plecos more than two feet long. I read that native residents of the Amazon rainforest eat the big ones and why not? Who doesn't love fried catfish sandwiches!

Sleepy

I just love how Tom naps in your hand! So adorable. Ona only drifts off with the two handed snuggle.
Him sleeping in my hand is more recent, like in the past two months. I’ll have had him for 2 years this July.
I guess it took him that long to trust me enough to sleep on me?

I don't know much about conures but from all the pictures people post it seems like small conures like to sleep in their owners' hands. Do they all do this if they're tame? Do they have to be hand raised at least partially?

A lot of, if not most, Conures tend to be cuddly. I don’t think it matters if they are hand raised but they have to trust you and be comfortable being handled. Being hand raised can make that process easier but most tamed Conures would probably enjoy a snuggle if they trust you. Ona will happily perch on anyone but won’t snuggle if she doesn’t know you’re A-ok. She does warm up pretty quickly though.

Hahaha! The look on his face here is priceless, he looks quite proud of how he rolled his paper up!
That looks like the same paper we use, we buy it in a huge roll.

The paper is his favorite thing to play with! Lol!
I buy it from U-Haul, in 500 packs. 2 boxes last about 7 months.
