Tom the Con-Man and the Flock!

Oh thank you! Great idea with the chop too - thatā€™s why it looks so good. Iā€™ll have to try this. I wonder if I could make less than an entire panā€¦. Like just a few muffins. Itā€™s harder to make these and use it all with just one tiny bird.
Birdie bread freezes pretty well as long as you wrap it properly, then just thaw enough for a day or two in the fridge. :)

@Keet_Krazy I forgot to take chicken pics! The rooster wouldnā€™t come out of the house but the girlies were out!

Make a big NY Cheesecake in the shape of a parrot! I hear they require a lot of eggs.

Somewhere around 30 I believe šŸ˜¶
Wow! What kinds do you have? Do you have a flock thread on here? You could include the chicken sometimes ;)

Sussex (buff coloured), Barnevelders, and recently a couple Silkies. Plus a handful of crossbreeds/mysteries.
I do have a thread here, I only post pictures every now and then though :)

Oh okay, I may have seen it then.
Silkies are so cute!

Oooh do you love doing the pin feathers? I do :D I don't know why but there is something so satisfying about it to me. Especially when they get one of the really thick, long ones that is kinda softish and it releases a big feather. So satisfying!

The chickens are cute! I wonder what the parrots would think of them. Have you ever taken them out to see them? I call Ona a chicken or a duck all the time because of her little "quacks"

Yeah I like doing pins! Tom doesnā€™t really love it though šŸ˜… Not like Tony anyways.

Iā€™ve never thought letting them see the chickens, I think theyā€™d be scared šŸ˜…

Thought Iā€™d post some of my fish! The saltwater fish are my dads however.
First! The clowns! The two without pattern are called naked ocellaris and the other two are mocha ocellaris.

Next, the Clarkii clown pair!

The centerpiece fish, the coral beauty angel! Heā€™s pretty shy though :/
IMG_0306.webp

The mollies! Yes they can be converted to saltwater. Thereā€™s 4 in all. Theyā€™re just fast.
IMG_0296.webp

Thereā€™s a few damsels too. Three 3 stripes, 2 blue green, and then several hermit crabs.
Next, my freshwater fish!
First, the zebra danios, I had a group of 5 and got 5 more yesterday. I also had a group of 3 black skirts and got 2 more yesterday too. Lucky me, they accidentally gave me a leopard!
IMG_0322.webp

IMG_0319.webp

The cherry barbs! I had 4 female and got 2 males yesterday for the girls.
The males are little right now! šŸ¤

Oops! Forgot the black skirt. The top fish is one of the new ones. A bit thin but heā€™ll fatten up!

My little sister didnā€™t want the Glofish black skirts so I put them in my 29.

There's no other way to say this, the naked ones are gorgeous! WOW.

I'm almost talked into salt, I knew this was going to happen.

I also had Mollies in my salt water tank, they were always the first to go in after the tank had cycled. Our pet store actually had mollies in salt already for sale, which was cool.

My little sister didnā€™t want the Glofish black skirts so I put them in my 29.

OKay, I'm officially blown away by the Glofish, I"ve never seen one before. Wow. I wonder what their lifespan is `compared to a regular black skirt.

I know! I think itā€™s one of the prettiest colors they come in. They arenā€™t terribly expensive compared to other morphs.
They seem to go for $30-60 depending on how big they are.
I'm almost talked into salt, I knew this was going to happen.
Haha! I knew it would happen! I hope to set up a saltwater to, though, Iā€™m gonna set up a nano for a pair of clowns.

I love the way clowns swim, itā€™s more ā€˜featheryā€™ than other fish.

Convenient! Itā€™s sort of odd. They don't look saltwater but Iā€™ve read they actually prefer it over fresh? In the wild they go from salt to fresh daily which is pretty resilient.
I reckon we know who's the boss in that relationship!
Hopefully the males grow fast! The females were babies when I got them too.
Haha! Maybe the girls will be nice! šŸ¤

Iā€™m in a fish keeping forum and some people on there have 4+ year old Glofish skirts.
My 3 are 3 years old right now and very robust. Iā€™ve heard of the regular black and white skirts living up to a decade!

I'm having price shock! I haven't had a salt water tank for maybe 30 years now and Damsels were $5.00 and clowns were $10 and up back then. That was my first thought about the Coral Beauty, mine cost around $60 back then.
Haha! I knew it would happen! I hope to set up a saltwater to, though, Iā€™m gonna set up a nano for a pair of clowns.

Haha, I knew better than to look at those fish! Maybe I should set up 2 tanks instead of one...hmmmm.

Great description, and the naked one with the way his fins are coloured would be awesome to watch.

They really are, aren't they? Even though they were the first ones in, I never lost one. They seem to be so much hardier than most saltwater fish.
Hopefully the males grow fast! The females were babies when I got them too.

Haha, yes, I'm sure the girls will be nice. They may even have them over for dinner.

That's impressive! I'm so glad that they aren't put through what the poor Glassfish were.

Oh yeah! Fish, especially saltwater have gone up. When we were at the fish stores yesterday, my dad saw a pair of clowns he really liked but not the price! They were called mocha storms, at $130 a piece!
When he bought the damsels back 2 years ago, I think they were $8 per fish.
