the weirdest dreams!

Huh, I honestly didn't know you could train yourself to have lucid dreams.

I often have dreams in which I suddenly remember I have an additional pet dog/parrot/etc I have forgotten and who is alone in some dusty room or the yard. And they're always the sweetest animals... and yet I've been unintentionally neglecting them while showering my actual pets with attention (usually Pixel or our family's sheltie who recently passed away). I wake up feeling soooo guilty :(. And I have different versions of this dream quite often! I don't know why...

just wanted to chip in on lucid dreaming; i didn't do the whole "wake training" such as writing things down etc. i just dreamt until i got to the point in my dreams where i was realising that i was dreaming and kinda... forced myself to keep going in my dream. so i became a lucid dreamer when i realised i was dreaming, so i could dictate what i'd want to happen from here on it. very handy when having nightmares.

takes a lot of 'practice', but i just willed myself to keep on sleeping and dreaming :p
It is very good for nightmares. :D I once had a nightmare that the fids got out of their cages while I was gone and my uncle was watching them. He smoked in their noses. :p I became lucid and willed myself to come home and take them to the vet. And then I went to my bird store and got a CAG. :D

Hahaha, I could tell you like CAGS lol. I have a terrible phobia of tarantulas. I would always have dreams where I would be walking I the woods then all of a sudden a tarantula would be hiding under leaves then grab my foot  I had another one where my mom got me cockatiels and one flew around the living room and got electrocuted by flying behind the tv and then Pepsi and sprite died from a disease the other cockatiel brought, then a cat killed the rest of my cockatiels and I was birdless :(

I LOVE Jellyfish!! i have a serious little obsession with them :p i have a decent colelction of jellyfish jewelry, jellyfish drawings and paintings and I've had my eye on a jellyfish lamp for a while now...
but most of all i'd LOVE one of these... but they be expeeeeeensive.... :( and i would want to make sure i can take proper care of them, so i'd want to buy all the accesories as well to make sure they are healthy etc (still living creatures after all!)

Yea! totally real :D
I don't know what it is about them... i just find them fascinating! and they are soooo relaxing to look at! last year i went to an aquarium in Galway and filmed the jellyfish tank on my phone for ages... i had to remove most of them because they took up all the memory on my phone :( -> here's the shortest of the videos :p [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDkPnPyR2Q4&feature=g-upl]Jellyfish tank - YouTube[/ame]

Do they have lights on the jellyfish to make them glow? they are beautiful!
i think you should put the tank on your christmas list :D haha

they do yea! pretty arn't they? id have to agree with conurecrazy though - if i came across one of those giant ones in the wild i'd run faster than the Flash. but tiny ones, in a tank - i like :)
Ha, we don't really have a spoken limit for christmas presents but i think anything over 600 euro is out of the question :)

I really should go to Australia sometime! When i hear "beach" i think of thick coats and very cold water :D that's just not right!

Ok, that lamp is pretty cool. :)

In open water is what scares me most!!!! Does Australia have lot of jellyfish like I think it does?

There was a tank on the floor of an aquarium that had shallow water and some jellyfish and I left the room... :p In a completely closed tank they are pretty. :D

haha good work leaving the room ;) at one of our theme parks we have a glass tunnel and you walk through it and there are sharks all around you, i sprinted through, too scary :p
