my latest dream was ricky gervais (english comedian/actor) and in one of his shows he says 'are you avin a laugh?' and i always say that to Fargo.. so in my dream i was like ricky!! im teaching my bird to talk like you hahaha

Lucid Dreaming: Developing Conscious Dream Control and Exploration

Here ya go! I use the MILD and Wake Back to Bed methods. (That probably makes no sense lol) But do hourly reality checks, keep a journal, and record dreams even if it's 1 in the morning LOL. Again, probably crazy talk. I usually only lucid dream 3-5 night's a week. Sometimes multiple dreams a night. Go ahead and read the beginner articles if you want!

kc, i know right! i have ricky gervais's phrase on an itunes playlist so i can make Fargo talk like him :54:
have you seen his tv show 'extras' ? thats where the saying 'are you avin a laugh?' comes from.. and then he says it heaps, and is like 'IS SHE HAVING A LAUGH!'
so my brother thought it would be hilarious if when i asked Fargo to do something, he would look at me and say,,, are you having a laugh?

I know, it's a lot.... last year during school I stopped all together because I didn't have time, but this summer I started up again. Waking up to record a long dream in the middle of the night is probably my least favorite thing!

That is such a strange dream Tab.
I used to have a reoccurring one all the time for years, (haven't had it for a good few months now though) The house I lived in (in the dream, never seen this house in real life) was infested with snakes. The floor was just covered in them. you couldn't actually see the floor for the snakes. They where in and outside the house. Before I could get to our Galah to save him one of the snakes would get through the bars and eat him. It was a horrible dream.
I have had another reoccurring dream where a Blonde man in a brown leather jacket chases me down a street, I always step off the curb and fall down a big whole that builders have dug out. I much prefer that dream to the snakes.

Then like you said there are the good celebrity ones. Daniel Radcliffe was one of mine.

Teaching Fargo that Ricky saying is awesome. I have an english accent, I was born in Yorkshire so it's like Mel. B's (spice girls/xfactorAu) accent. So I suppose Jax will have that accent too. I haven't really thought about it. LOL

That is creepy stuff! i had a dream once where all of pip's feathers had been plucked out, he looked like he was ready to go into an oven... :s
strangely it was my little bandit that started to pluck out some feathers then (she's on the mend by the way )

Rana, feel free to slap me silly, but when you said pip looked like he was ready to go into an oven I cracked up laughing...not that it's funny in any way, but your description made me giggle really REALLY hard.

just wanted to chip in on lucid dreaming; i didn't do the whole "wake training" such as writing things down etc. i just dreamt until i got to the point in my dreams where i was realising that i was dreaming and kinda... forced myself to keep going in my dream. so i became a lucid dreamer when i realised i was dreaming, so i could dictate what i'd want to happen from here on it. very handy when having nightmares.

It is very good for nightmares. I once had a nightmare that the fids got out of their cages while I was gone and my uncle was watching them. He smoked in their noses. I became lucid and willed myself to come home and take them to the vet. And then I went to my bird store and got a CAG.

Ha it never occurred to me that that is what "lucid dreaming" is i do that a lot!
Most of the times i dream, i actually do realize i am dreaming and can dictate what happens. i'll have to look up more about that... I just asumed i was a very vivid dreamer... i do talk in my sleep a lot, and i've been known to sleep walk.
I once bit my ex very hard in his shoulder... i spend the entire dream making a sandwish and someone wanted to take it away from me, so i figured i'd bite that person, and ended up biting him, leaving a big bruise for weeks... Oops...
i never knew if i got my sandwish back or not... his screaming woke me
