The Rickeybird Scrapbook, 1984 - Updates

Tek, you have completely touched my heart!
I printed that off and made it my screensaver.
I'm guessing you did that little bird yourself somehow.
Gee, ya meet the nicest folks here.
Truly, I thank you so, so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"At last - a TRICK! (Right?)"

Okay, y'all know that my darling is not the sharpest Patagonian knife in the parrot drawer, but... honestly... I think he finally learned a TRICK!
This is a trick, right?
Right?
Right?

Hahaha! Yes, Abigail! That is most certainly a trick! Well done, Rickeybird!

I might just be another artist lurking about the forum...
I just don't announce it. I hand did the Rickeybird using the potato as a template for the shape. I'm handy with my stylus.

You're very welcome dear. :)

Anansi, many thanks... we are vindicated. Who knows what's next? Onwards!

Tek, that is cute stuff... I love Art that just makes ya smile. I am proud to have the Rbird immortalized in your gallery.

Don't tempt me now. I tend to doodle a lot more than I put up.
Just wait until I get my birb, I'll probably Ginjinka her as well as just do lottle strips of her antics.

Tekkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..................
I herewith do verily tempt ye, avast and behold!

P.S.
Neither the Rbird nor I have yet to venture formally into Birb and Ginjinka, but we might!
Thanks for the inspiration...

Have you seen the series on DA? I'm sure you'd appreciate it.

I'm waiting to get Little Miss Bird Thing before I do her Ginjinka. Get a good feel for her personality. If she's cuddly, independent, or what not.

The making of the Sillent RickeyBird:

I am now starting with his tail feathers, and maybe I can also begin
with his beak today.

be allright hahaha. :D
I saw on the pictures that Rickey his wings are clipped.
So I tried to make his wings like that.

Looking good Mari, is that knit or crochet? I can not, for the life of me, knit, but I caa kinda crochet.

Teknogeddon it is crochet.
A while ago I made a topic about crochet parrots.
I have posted a link in the topic to my dropbox, so you can download the patterns.

I'm very curious to know what parrot you are going to make.
If RBird is flown to Gail, I am going to crochet my GreyGuys again.
And then my blue BudgieGuy Bob.

@Gail: Sorry that Teknogeddon and I have gone off-topic.
Now back to your topic.

It's all the same thread... we love our birdzszszszs!

I took a shot at portraying the Rbird. Usually I use traditional drawing/painting tactics in my eBay store, butttttt....

Here's a digital experiment!

(Psychic) Sailboat...

You are correct: the Rival has already judged the beak to be far too innocent-looking. He also wondered "where are his horns?"

And thank you for the compliment!
