Yes, I see it too. I’ve seen my share of mating birds in the wild to recognize what appears to be happening here. Not sure I’m ready. He’ll be 3 in April.

One thing I've noticed about Grey's with their eyes. They seem to be able to show "real emotion" with them! Wide eye'd,or squinting with anger displeasure. I recall vividly with Smokey,if she got p.o.about something she could/would squint her eyeballs and even some one who didn't know birdies could immediately tell she was aggro'd at something lol. Can't tell you how many times I got the "hairy eyeball" from her

With Amy I can really tell when she is happy or excited. Besides the pinning of her eyes,when we're out in the car going for a ride,her eyes get WIDE

The look on Levi's face/eyes watching the snow fall shows pure pleasure/excitement to me..seems like he's even smiling! ( glad I'm in HERE!)

It's true Jim, I can totally read his eyes and that's why I don't get bit that often. Ha lol

He likes to sit there and taunt the wild ones. It's pretty funny. One day I'll catch it on video. He bangs his beak on the window & chases them. lol
