Recipe:
1 Pear, 1/2 Fennel bulb, a handful of broccoli, 1" piece of Ginger, 1" piece of Tumeric, 2 cups Spinach, (or Arugula or both) 1/2 Cucumber, Cocunut water & ice. Than my Son, Levi & I enjoy.

I make a lot of smoothies, I just have to remember to put some aside for Levi prior to adding the fresh garlic or anything else he can't have. I usually add Garlic to all of my juicing & smoothies.

lol Christa, I have never heard of this movie. I watched the trailer, it's an oldie and I Love Charlton Heston.

But here's the most important question,

“What is the Secret of Soylent Green?” haha

It's actaully pretty good, and the benefits are to reduce inflammation. Try it if you can find Fennel. I'm having a rough time finding it around here these days. I'm guessing it's out of season. ?

Fennel always has intimidated me.
Garlic is wonderful for people.
I once gave a clove of garlic to Neptune, and he ate it all, then I checked the internet and freaked out and took him to the vet. Nothing she could do, but tell me not to feed it again. He was fine no ill effects.

Yea, I was shocked at some of the really good foods for us that are no nos for them. I'm so glad Neptune was okay..... very scary!
I eat avocados like everyday & Levi is always right there in a flash trying to get to the cutting board. It's crazy.

Fennel is strong, my hubby is not a fan at all. However, when blended with fruits it's really mild. I have a few recipes using Fennel & it's quite nice.
Make this smoothie & you'll see. You may be able to get Fennel in FL all year.

I really do just FEEL the birds, and by the time I'm done, I love every one dearly. I like to get the eyes done early on; then I have company while I finish.
Lots of times people dream up poses or actions or expressions, and they may want toys or stuff added. Buttttttttttttt... Tami, who is a gifted Nature photographer (oh, you should SEE her work!) just passed me the money shot. I didn't realize how much I altered it until I look at the two together here.
Honestly, Levi is looking at us like "Okay, not bad, not bad".
It was an enormous honor to paint dear Levi!

Holy crud Ms Gail! It look like you can actually reach out and TOUCH Levi!! What an awesome painting! I have seen a lot of your work and am honored to have three of your fantastic masterpieces,but honestly,I think this one of Levi is your finest so far!
