Stupid things People have said?

You would NOT believe the number of people who think male, normal colored cockatiels are female. I can understand some of the other mutations, but a normal grey? Sighs...

ANother guy sold me his female green cheek conure saying it was 'definitely male' because it had 'Black legs'. Like... huh? And this was an experienced bird slave, too, and should have known better.

Their reasoning was that they could not reach the middle part of the cage, and therefore were unhappy... (I only like to use natural perches that screw into the side of the cage, and a rope boing/perch. )

Also I had to explain to some people how what they think a parakeet is is actually a budgie and most small parrots are parakeets
