Leg bands are generally just for the breeders use. There is no "National database" or anything like that with leg band information. The breeders use them to tell different hatchling apart.

I think when you buy a pet from
Petsmart they should give you his hatchdate certificate and an update record of his vaccinations. At least that’s what they did when I got my conure.
