Ok , so I'm going to see the female HY next week , if we hit it off , become friends , it's a done deal :)
I have come up with a few names but I want some help.
You guys always come up with great names.
Here are the ones I have come with.
Olivia
Hazel
Izaboo
Ariel

I like izaboo but I have seen a hy with that name before, how about happy or smiley because they always look happy and like they are smiling.

Willhelmina
Faye
Quinn
Arya
Stella
Sansa(Game of Thrones character)

I also like Indigo , Indy for short :)

Hmm... Stella, Quinn, Willow, Lana, Izaboo and Hazel all have my vote!

Naming pets is like naming my children. Although with pets you can be slightly more...creative. I don't think I could appropriately name my child Freckles, but it seems a perfectly acceptable and fitting name for certain color mutations of snakes (we had a corn named Freckles, lol). I couldn't name my daughter Sugar, but I can name my Too that.

Yet I have been known to give "human" names as well.
Sophie
Mackenzie (Mac for short)
Heff
Norbert
Charlie
Sasha
Suki
Serenity... you get the idea.

Currently we have Onyx, Sugar, Loki, Deemer, and Norbert.

For macaws I think they deserve a proud and pretty name for a girl, and a proud and handsome name for a boy. That's just me lol

I always think of macaws to be the royalty of the parrot world

How about Maeve, like Queen Maeve of Ireland, that would be regal. It is also my daughter's name so I'm a bit biased;) And for short we call her Mae or Mae Mae.
