This event with the Guinness Book Of World Records is never going to take place.
Firstly I would never put Mishka through all that stress.
Mishka does not talk in unfamiliar surroundings, in public places and most of all with strangers, surrounding him.
There is no ways a vet and a speech specialist would sit with us, not knowing how long it would take. (Not to mention the cost involved per hour)
LARGEST VOCABULARY FOR A BIRD
DEFINITION OF RECORD
This record is for the largest vocabulary for a bird
It is based on the number of individual words spoken in any language.
GUIDELINES FOR ‘LARGEST VOCABULARY FOR A BIRD’
1. The attempt must take place in a public place or in a venue open to public inspection.
2. The attempt should not exceed a 24 hour time period and the independent witnesses
must be present for the entire duration.
3. Breaks are permitted during this time period.
4. The use of prompts is permitted for the attempt.
5. Each word must be distinguishable to the independent witnesses without any prior
knowledge of the word produced by the bird.
6. One of the independent witnesses must be a qualified veterinary surgeon; evidence of
the qualifications must be submitted.
7. The second independent witness should be a specialist in speech such as a speech
analyst, evidence of their qualification must also be provided.
GENERAL ‘ANIMAL’ GUIDELINES
§ The name of the organisation, company or person(s) making the attempt must be given,
along with the date and place.
§ Please include all details about the animal including breed/species, age.
§ A veterinarian or zoologist must be present to use their expertise to confirm the finding.
They must write a witness statement to outline and confirm the record set.
§ The animal must be a minimum of 1 year old and considered to be ‘adult’.

the claim.
Ø Two independent witness statements from a veterinarian and the speech specialist must
be submitted alongside the claim.
Ø Evidence of the qualifications of each of the independent witnesses.
Ø Video and photographic evidence of the attempt must be submitted to GWR.
Ø Failure to include the required documentation will ultimately delay the outcome of your
claim or lead to its rejection.
• Hire a Guinness World Records adjudicator to attend and verify your record attempt live and on-site
The cost of the Adjudication Service starts from £4,500 and you are responsible for the transportation and accommodation for your adjudicator
Costs that are expected to be paid by you include: airfares (must be direct flights and business class if outside Europe), all transfers to and from the event, accommodation and a daily attendance rate of GBP4500 for the Bronze package. This applies only for the day of the record attempt but a discretionary fee might apply if the total travel time takes longer than one day.
