I gave this to my parrot yesterday. He spent 3 hours last night trying to get to these nuts, and then another 2 hours this morning. He was successful at getting to the nuts eventually. He wasn’t exactly happy at times and started shaking the entire cage the nuts are in. However he was fully entertained

No, this was my Macaw. My Ekkie unfortunately wouldn’t be able to break open those nuts. My Ekkie can get sun flower seeds open.

This is what I make for my Ekkie. It’s a soft toy that he can destroy.

Mine loves those sola balls also. I never thought about putting seeds in there for him, thanks for that idea! He buzzes through those balls so fast that it might slow him down a bit lol.
