We just buried Apollo. Picked a pretty place in front of the pond and under a tree. I put the shoe box inside a pretty satin purple pillow case along with her toy, bowl, peanuts and made her a fruit bag that contained a whole apple, whole pear, a honey tangerine and some grapes. I told her that I loved her, I wanted to say more but couldn't

Every day I've been waking up crying. The holidays will be hard because Apollo was right there around all the cooking for Thanksgiving. Parrots can smile and flap their wings when they get excited, she did especially for holiday meals. I will miss that greatly.
