Help! Is my IRN sick?

I would advise you to keep searching. The hunt will be worth it.

Friends!

The authority has got back to me asking me for receipts and clinics diagnoses which I kept with me. Looking at their email thread, there is a lot of internal escalations :D

Today, I went undercover to the same breeder/shop. And I heard him (the owner) screaming at someone else, "you gave me this bird and it died in two days". And on the bottom of the cage, there is a big blood stain. Then they became quite once they saw me. I went undercover to do some chatting about "their policy" which are contradicting. Over the phone, after I explained to him the whole story, he told me "if you brought it within 5 days we could've replace it or something. We're sorry, but this is life, and you should take care of birds". That's when I went mad (inside).
At his place, he said "noooo, once it's out, no return policy".

Anyway, don't want to make this any longer, will keep you posted of the authority's response and follow up.

And one thing to vent: At the breeder, I couldn't handle myself but "saving" another ringneck. 8 months old. I know, you'd think I'm crazy, but if I can afford it, I'll get them all.

Here is a pic of him/her (might call him/her Lemon):

What a beautiful bird! Please take him to the specialist right away to be sure he doesn't have any infections!

I wish you and your new bird + the others a happy and safe life! The bird you may name Lemon is beautiful.

Hopefully the local authorities will crack down on shameful breeding. So sad the sellers feel nothing for them beyond inventory to be sold.
