HELP! Budgie needs handfeeding

I'm glad you did, Tex.. Hamlet sounds like a really great bird.
I just miss the bird store I used to go to when I lived in New Jersey, The Paterson Bird Store. It was nothing but birds and bird stuff. I got my first parrot there and you could just go there and talk bird/gossip whatever.. it was so much fun.
I'm sure my mom hated bringing me but I wanted to go there all the time. I remember when I was going to visit my conure before he was ready to come home they had this really attractive girl working behind the counter. All of a sudden my brother volunteered to drive me several times a day to visit my bird. lol..
I wish there was something like that here.

OMG Flyte - that's where I bought Keupi! (Or where Keupi bought me, depending on perspective.)

hmmm .... Patterson Bird Store ... hmmm ... Jersey isn't all that far from here ...

Holy Crap are you serious?? Thats where I got my blue crowned conure, Echo!! Thats so crazy.
Were you around when someone stole the Stores 'Mascot' Amazon, Peaches?
I felt so bad for them, they were so upset. I brought Rocky to visit and the owners wife cuddled him and cried. I felt soooo bad.
Someone just stole her right out of the store. She could sing the song 'I left my heart in San Fransisco' I don't think they ever got her back :(

I don't think I was around then... I 'adopted' (put the deposit down) Keupi on June 15 2002 and brought him home on July 6th. I remember, there was a delightful store mascot with a 'P' name but it was male. We had great 'chats' while I was waiting to enter the 'nursery.'

That was also the place where I, in the same encounter, discovered Keupi was a jewel thief and a cookie burglar... never mind I wanted to just disappear (floor open and take me now).

Two levels - bottom - three rooms (food/toys in one, ready birds in another, hand feeders in another) and top was a maze of cages and gyms with two (??) rooms one for boarding and one for engaging?

On Route 46 next to Office Max - right?

Yes that was it! I loved that store! I remember when I was arguing with the owners son about finches. He said they couldn't be tamed/hand-fed and so the next time I came in I brought 4 hand fed babies with me. He had them all siting on his hand and he thought they were so cool. I didn't want to sell them to the pet store because I was worried they'd get mixed in with the 'normal' ones, I wanted to pick out the owners myself and I was getting a heck of a lot more money for my zebra finches than the normal like $5.00 price.
I miss that store. All the stores here stink. I hate living in the woods. I'm sick of toothless hicks :(
*cries softly*

I miss that store too. It was a fid wonderland. Luckily I still have family in Jersey, and -gosh be darn can drive right by there (with a slight detour - hour - LOL) on my way down to visit them.
