I could not be happier, I am finally done with the last (and most dreaded) of my summer projects (yes, this will be my last "off topic" creative post for a while;)) I have finally finished the old patio set I picked up at a garage sale, and it looks better than new :D After I bought the loveseat and sofa, I did some research and found they were circa 1960s, so I tried to pick a 60s-ish print for the 10 new cushions I made. The table was found at another garage sale, and had a glass top (which had to go) which I replaced with wood look tiles. I sanded & painted all the metal components, which came out with a factory-like finish. I kinda sorta took the "lazy" route with the cushions and just made them "paper bag" style instead f proper boxing and cording and things I just didn't want to take the time for on 10 cushions:52:... I got the palm tree (which totally lights up, I just need to get out an extension cord) at another garage sale, and much to my delight, the umbrella I ordered had LED lights on it (which I wasn't expecting!:)) Anyways, here it is, and am I ever glad I have no more large projects I'm facing!!!

Beautiful balcony and so inviting now that it has your creative designs in place. Love the square LED umbrella and the sixties print fabric. Now that you've finished your projects you can take a well-deserved break.

That looks great and I SOOO love the material:)

Thanks:) We had dinner out there last night and it was lovely. We will need to get a bug repellent candle though...
