Fargo flying on flight line !

Love the pictures of him in flight Tab! Please please be careful adjusting the flight line though if you do. I quite liked the flight line, Merlin couldn't get toooo much height, and it's got a good length on it!

Fargo just needs to learn how to manoeuvre better in flight now!

Between the 2 pegs is only 5-10 meters, which isnt much, its only when he learns to turn that he will be able to do the full 25 meters like they say! So really hes just doing a few flaps and then hes at the end

Will just give it a go, we have huge open spaces, so he wont be able to get caught in anything if i give him the big leash just for a try!

Ooh yeah, forgot about Merlin having to do about 20x more flaps than Fargo to reach the end of the line

We only ended up doing recall training outside in the aviator. Having him 'thrown' from me to my dad, and back again. Merlin's great indoors, outdoors... he can fly, boy he can fly. He just can't fly down. Which is why I'm grateful it doesn't let him get that high!

Shall see you at the airport tonight then!! Its all just big trees and mountains out here, our house is on top of a mountain, so it has a nice view! but i took Fargo to the flat down below!
Thats why i am worried if Fargo ever got loose, he would get lost cause its just big hills and trees, he wouldnt have a clue how to get home and unlike being in town, no one would find him, cause there are hardly any houses here! haha

Least we never have noise complaints from the neighbours... about my singing i mean :22:
Actually..... saying that.. the other day a neighbour told my mum i was a wonderful singer, apparently he heard me while i was riding Kitai woops haha

I'm the same way, you can never be bored in the beauty and love of animals, especially horses, they can sense a real person with a true heart, it's such a work of joy and you've got the time to make it work, so keep doing it no matter what ur friends say.

Well we did another session this afternoon, i took the pegs off and just attached the line to the harness, and the other end to my wrist.. and it worked ALOT better than it just being in the ground!

He is slowly starting to learn how to turn! Still clung to my shoulder and didnt want to fly, but i just ran with him on my hand and he would take off!

When he lands he just sits on the ground and waits for me to pick him up haha

Tried to video it, so its very shaky as i ran along with him!

The sun was already starting to go down So will do it earlier tomorrow so he can fly in the sun!

Yes it is definitely an amazing sight!! Its incredible how big their wing span is, it seems alot bigger outside than it does inside!!

Will be alot better when he actually flies around instead of just straight and then landing.. i hate seeing him having to land
