Camelina Macaw

Such a beautiful parrot. So plumpy and pretty. Sometimes I look at the pictures of your beautiful parrot and want to squeeze him gently like this.

LOL theyre getting along but my Harlequin nipped the Cam in the tail today LOL My fault really. I opened his cage to let him out and when I turned around the Camelinas tail was within striking distance. Didnt hold on or anything but freaked sunny out LOL. I never keep them to close to each other. Heres a video of our circus. Only one missing from the vid was Garfield our cat. Onyx made a rare appearance LOL.

ID channel is cool but Im pretty hooked on National Geographic Wild!! All day until ESPN time comes around and of course Wifeys Law and Order Marathons on every conceivable channel LMAO

Hes a real ham for the camera :) Looks like you could teach him alot now. Do you take them outside in a harness?

Negative. I can get him used to it if I start now although the other two would put my fingers in the harness LOL Im in the process of building a outdoor aviary so they can spend a nice amount of time outside when the kids are in the pool.

The harness is a good idea . I would put my hands all over Harlow [like lifting her feet and touching her wing] I felt this helped [cause I had her trust] The harness thing went better than I thought. Looking at your other post ,try taking your other Macaw [like in the bathroom ] and work on you relationship away from the others [set time everyday] :)

I started carrying him for a couple of shows. 30 min at a time to get him used to being on me and hopefully bond us. Not really experienced at this so its like a science project with him LOL

You will be an expert in a year :) Do they play off each other with calls ? like when my zon sings Harlow trys to chime in.Or even trys to start it . Shes most excited when I come home.

The stands are really great. It lasted me two years before having to semi-refurbish it for 60$ the other day. I want to add more toys to theirs and get Sunny a bigger one as well. I got him the small one because I was not sure how well he would get around on it and wanted to prevent falls. All in all its one of the best investments I have made IMO. Woods reliable and sturdy as well.

Wheres the toys:D See Harlows:p You need a drillpress, table saw and untreated pine!
