Cage cleaning time again....

I can`t say cage cleaning is my favorite thing to do but I know I better do it before my wife gets on me. It is my bird and I will be doing the maintenance. Cameo actually enjoys the interaction and will sit on the kitchen chairs back to supervise. She knows she get a nice treat when I am finished and fresh paper to shred up. The vacuum cleaner is not going to happen near Cameo. She even goes balistic when I am cutting the grass near the windows.

wiping down the cage bars its the worst , some how my fids are able to get poop in the all the hardest spots

I dunno, I just love wiping them down, lol

Jealous? Hehehe... I posted a picture of my rearranged living room a month or so and forgot the vacuum was in the shot when I posted it on FB and my friend goes "Subtle I have a Dyson post". Oops! Hehe!

I put some music on, use rubber gloves (sometimes) and put them on the playstand while I clean their entire bedroom! Vacuuming is my most favorite part too! We have a Dyson and it is so fun to clean! By the way, Dyson vacuums are on sale 20-30% off until mothers day, and have a hepa filter. A MUST when having tropical birds. picks up all the dust, filters out the air. Smells amazing.

Mine is 6 years old and I got it originally because of the Grey's we had at the time (and 2 dogs, and cat and baby, lol). I didn't realize until a couple of months ago, that you're supposed to clean the filter every 6 months and the other filter monthly ooops!! Amazingly, it took 6 years of not doing that before we noticed it slacked in the suction department. I have the original Animal one, the DC14.

I love the way a room smells and the way the carpet looks after it's been freshly vacuumed! And how I don't smell crushed up pellets after changing papers
