Thank you! She’s a great little nurse. [emoji3]

Does she make you vegetarian chicken soup out of her chop and pellets to help you on your way to a speedy recovery? Lol...I bet she does. Finley does that like 5 times a day and I'm not even sick...

I want a Bumble!

She's so happy. Happy Nurse Bumble.

She's saying "I've got this."

Hmmmm...she does make soup now and again, but mostly she flings. I wonder if those bits are supposed to be for me? And I can get my exercise by running around eating them?

Don’t let that sweet face fool you! She has some sort of soul-connection to the RB, I’m certain. She does enjoy a good chomp. She’s mostly sweetness and light though [emoji3590]

Duuuuuhhhh

Lol you're welcome...am I right?

How's the pain level? I think if a birdie is sitting on your hand and you raise your hand that's enough exercise right there!

Sorry-just saw this. Pain is very minimal. Either I have a high tolerance or I’m lucky. Definitely lifting a one ounce bird is the outer limit of what I’m supposed to be doing [emoji23] She’s the best little nurse.

Bumble has been so cute today. I moved her PVC gym to the living room because I wanted to be on the couch. She decided it was great fun to fly back and forth the 5 feet from gym to cage. Good exercise for her too! It’s such a joy to watch her playing and doing bird stuff. So cute when she’s about to fly and she spends a little time tilting her head this way and that deciding where to land. I can always tell when she’s cooking up shenanigans by that head tilt too.

And I love when she plays with her toys on her and dangles from them and is obviously enjoying tiny bird life like in this pic.

lol well, when we were building it, I made up the dimensions for the base and it kind of went from there. It’s a little bigger than I expected [emoji23] (I was thinking table-top but it’s probably 4 feet high) but she seems to like jumping/hopping/flapping around it. And I think it cost me about $25 to build.

As a tiny bird, Bumble spends a lot of time perched on my index finger. The first time she ducked her head toward my thumb in search of skritches was the day I knew I had successfully built a bond with her. There have been lots and lots of other moments since then that have solidified this, but to this day it still completely melts me when she does it-and especially on the semi-rare occasion she says “tickle” while waiting. Asking so sweetly!

I think these floofy little feathers that almost always stick up like this are so stinking cute. Birdie cowlick?

Today, Bumble supervised me working from home, flew around the apartment a lot, and investigated using the window as a perch for the first time. Apparently, she wore herself out!

And this second picture because I think her tail feathers are such a beautiful color and I can rarely get a good view of them.
