Budgie food - Need help pretty quickly..

My budgies have been eating Kaytee egg blend. They won't eat pellets, but this blend has SOME pellets at least in the hopes of them at leat trying some. I have in past mixed a molting seed blend in so they get a little of that. I stopped buying it but I mixed up the last batch of seeds I had this morning. It wasnt until I started to mix I noticed the molt blend looks really funny. Kind of like they're was broker flaked cereal in it. Makes me nervous so I'm going to throw it out.

However.. Now I'm out of seed. I'm out and need to pick up something for them. After all this talk of Kaytee problems, I'm afraid to use them anymore. I desperately need suggestions as I'm out right now and need to stop and get them food. Anyone have an idea? Would like a mix of seed with some pellets.

My budgies eat Hagen seed mixed with Roudybush crumble. I get the Roudybush from Bakers. I wish there was somewhere else to get it from, but haven't found anywhere but them that supplies it.

Thanks Terry. Aleta gets the mini (I think) so I'll just break some up. Dont know why I didn't think of that. And Meika's sells it too. I think the price is petty much the same.

I didn't even know that Meika's has it...I have never gone there, it is always Reg on his way home from work..lol.
