This is Bella’s 8 year got you anniversary.
Back in 2016 is when we first saw her and I/we knew we could help her.
So many things happened in that year.
Cockatiels had babies for the first time.
Poor Plumas passed away (shortly after bringing home Bella).
So because she is a rescue and I don’t know her age for sure it’s the got you date we have to celebrate.
I can’t imagine life without her she has become such a part of the family.
She does so many things that show she is always paying attention to what we are doing and saying.
I can’t possibly write them all down.
When my son tears off a paper towel Bella makes a “blowing your nose “ sound.
When I put ice in a glass Bella makes the soda can opening noise.
If I tell my wife I am going to take a shower Bella will (sometimes) come flying out of the kitchen to land on my shoulder.
And she doesn’t attack anyone.
Unlike Bingo.
Living with Bella out of the cage is like living with “Dennis The menace”
Always into something but with the best of intentions.
If I tried to do the same with Bingo it would be like….
Living with Linda Blair from the exorcist. Bingo is down right hostile to everyone but me and even I have to walk softly.
