This is another odd thing about Nico that I’ve noticed too is he isn’t capable of breaking open nuts. My other large parrot I have the opposite issue with. His beak goes through Brazil nuts with ease. It’s almost like Nico wasn’t built to eat nuts with the harder shells. It’s another odd thing about this parrot that I’ve noticed that has me puzzled. He struggles more than my conures to open shells even sun flower seeds.
