Self aggression of my Quaker

Hello, I have a problem. I have two Quakers (females) at home. Last year both laid eggs for the first time and as we thought due to a huge stress one of them has torn out a lot of it's feathers. We went to a vet, he gave her some parasite drops and said that he didn't see any parasites so she should be okay. But this year one of them has torn apart most of her belly feathers and around the top of the wings. They didn't lay any eggs now or nothing. They are being regularly taken out of the cage and they have a huge cage. Unfortunately I left them with my parents due to my studies and I'm coming back home once per month or so. What are the possibilities of this self aggression? Is it possible that's from longing for my? If you need any other photos or info feel free to ask. I'm sorry for my English cause I'm not an native but I want to do everything for them and I don't how what could I possibly do...

Parrots are very sensitive and an upset like abandoning them to your parents can certainly lead to feather plucking. This is one reason many of us don't recommend parrots as pets for young people who have unstable living situations. Quaker parrots can live more than 30 years and that's a big commitment for someone who was a child themselves only a few short years ago. It's possible that a health problem is causing them to pluck so I would take them to an avian vet for evaluation.
