Bird is banned coz they're the WORST.
They neglect their birds and other animals and say "vet approved care"
And if someone does point it out, it's "too expensive"
Lemme get this straight. A million-dollar company can't spend $150 on decent care for their animals?

bird ibb not all pet stores are bad. It's places like Petco or PetSmart that suck

Pipp is banned coz yeah, but in general I would never get from a pet store because of all the rescues that need homes. I only go to bird specific stores but yeah, only chains are really that bad

I hate it. He's most likely too interested in money or has no empathy towards animals

fox ibb yeah I don't like it at all when ppl go get a animal from a pet store(even when there is better options!) instead of adopting one or at LEAST look for an ethical breeder who ACTUALLY loves their animals

Pip ibb There a couple species i hope to own one day that finding them in a shelter is nearly impossible so I may have to get them as babies but yeah with species that i can find in shelters I will get them from a shelter.

Bird is banned coz I got Jasper and Lilla as rescues and the little birds from a VERY responsible breeder. He is probably the only breeder I know I can trust here.

fox ibb Ive done my research On JC aviary it is the only place I am ever gonna get baby birds from period.

Bird is banned cause I have a great bird store near me (buut I don't go much cause I'll end up buying everything) and my breeder, that I got Zig, Kai, and Cricket from, and a vet...I'm very lucky

Bird is banned coz compared to you, I do...Indianapolis is only about 20 minutes away and it's the only huge city in IN. I live in Greenwood, which has nothing exciting

Bird is banned coz cities aren't great for birds, IMO. It's probably fine, but the noise and lights and probably smaller houses would be less ideal than my housing situation

Fox ibb Yeah i like the shelter near me for that reason. They ask alot of grueling question and the process takes forever but they are really good about it.

They breed their budgies all year round with no breaks
