Well...he just left to his new home. They were very nice people. When this guy said he has a zoo, I thought he meant lots of animals (in addition to his quarter horses) making it feel like a zoo. No he actually has a giraffe, kangaroo and other stuff on his horse ranch with the peacocks, guineas and rescue dogs. We are definitely going to visit Sterling and check it out soon. I feel good knowing we found a "choice" location with an aviary and lots of things to keep him busy, and interaction with lots of people which he would not get with us. Keeping him just to hear my grandmothers voice would have been selfish.

I'm new to this parrot forum (so I couldn't PM you, Greydays - you can only PM someone if you have 20 posts or more to your credit). Just wondering if you are still looking for a good home for your grey. Thanks!

Read the entire thread. Sterling found a new home.

I need another CAG like I need a hole in my head... BUT if you're in San Antonio, and on the off chance you know someone who found a greenwing macaw in their yard about a year ago... I'M STILL LOOKING FOR MY MAGGIE...

Bird people know bird people. There is a large reward!
