Chicken used to be a really good bird. When I would take her out in the mornings while I drank coffee and got on the computer, she was content to sit on my shoulder, and occasionally try to steal a drink of my coffee.

Things have changed. She's turned BAD. Now, she climbs off my shoulder, and gets on the table. From there, all heck breaks loose. Nothing is safe from her beak. She closes and opens things on the computer as she dances across my keyboard, avoiding all my attempts at capturing her. She knocks over the container of pens, scattering them all over the table and floor. Napkins no longer rest in their holder, but are lucky if they are just thrown and not shredded. Nothing is safe!

And I love it. I love that she is not being a perch potato. I love watching her be inquisitive and playful. I love watching her problem solve (even if the problem she's solving is how to wreak as much havoc as possible before I can catch her). I love seeing my bird be a bird rather than just an ornament.

EEEEK!

Now the Rickeybird will want to date her!

Watch out!

Have you talked about the birds and the bees yet?

The logistics would be a little difficult for them, but I wouldn't be completely opposed to the Rbird and Chicken. I like his spunk, I must say.

Ah. Nigel has never been a good bird. He's been just horrible! Flinging food, chewing shoes, and slinging poo...

What else is there?

Sounds like she's just lovely as she should be!!!

A playful bird is a joy to watch!
