Yep you read that right. No, not on my birds...
On their toys... and perches... small red dots.. that crawl... and look like mites..

I will get treatment for it, but what can I do in the meantime to keep the lil guys safe? Should i trash some of their toys? And perches? Do I just wash them?

ALSO. LITTLE BIT OF CONTEXT.
I have been very busy with school and struggling mentally so i haven't been able to keep their conditions the cleanest. Which might be why there is mites... sigh

Also, would you all use this? My mother insists on trying it and I'm a bit hesitant..

Actually only one but ehe I'm still panicking

I have no personal experience with mites and I'm sure someone else who has direct experience will have better advice but I've been told by vets to never use over the counter mite treatments. Maybe someone who's used it before will have something different to say but my understanding is that stuff is dangerous so I wanted to say something!
