I love my female Eclectus, she is perfect in every way, and insanely well behaved for a bird of any kind. I used to think a macaw was my dream bird, but now that I am fostering a B&G I have come to realize that no other bird will match my lovely Eclectus. I'm hoping that the male Eclectus that we are going to foster soon will fit in and we can adopt him.

I already have an umbrella cockatoo and noticed they were not on anyone's dream bird list, (hmmm...wonder why?), but I love him anyways, guess I love a challenge! If I could have chosen a bird, I think it would have been a raven.

I didn't read through all of these posts, but if there were no U2's, there were definitely SEVERAL M2'S, and they are a challenge, if not more of a challenge, than a U2.

A U2 and an M2 would definitely be my dream birds.... but is so hard to say that. I love all of my birds, and each one of them is special in their own way.

Sorry I lost track of this post, so many replies! Everyone has such cool dream birds! My newest dream bird is a hand raised finch, I held one at the pet store and my heart is set!

Mine would be a kia, hyacinth, green wing, African grey. But if I were to pick one I would get a green wing macaw.

I would have a long billed Corella, a gang gang cockatoo a barn owl and a eagle or falcon oh and a crow! Only one of them I'll ever actually be allowed to own is the long billed Corella. When I'm olded and have much more experience with my Galah I will be buying one of them

I rescued a baby crow that fell out of its nest when I was in primary school. Of course being so young had bo idea how to care for it so had to give it to a wildlife rescue, but loved it while I had it

I love my eckie but if I could have any bird I think I would get an amazon. The breeder we bought Puffin from had just purchased an amazon and he fascinated me and I told hubby then that would be my next bird. Now he loves Puffin so much he wants us to get a female but my daughter is not too keen, she still remembers those early months and the screeching lol.
