Thank you all for the warm welcome Pikachu received!! And yes I do suffer from MBS... Pikachu came with a health certificate testing for the nasties. Today Pikachu is fully part of the flock. Pecking order Ta-dah rules , giving the side eye to her subjects. So far Neptune marginally outranks Pikachu, poor Penny is the bottom of the flock, budgies are little sprites, no one can catch em to boss em. Pikachu is preening, Neptune is checking out if Cloudy is eating something worth stealing, Clear has me in his sights incase I come closer. Penny is enduring the invasions of her cage top ..

Clear the other budgie is wild, so he didn't make it into the signature. Lol the two budgies were rehomed together, so there's always been two.
They are Cloudy and Clear Skies. Oh I've got to add Pikachu to my parrot list!

So Pikachu has really just fit in and been a love with me. .
But Pikachu likes to land on the floor , a no no with dogs. Well mine have never been on the floor. Pikachu lands on the floor, BAM , my whole flock lands on the floor like it's a trip to Disney land;!!! I get it parakeets and Quakers are ground feeders. But not in this house lol
Also Pikachu likes to land on the TV , this isn't something any of my birds have done, but now Neptune thinks he should too...
Lastly it look like the Chu and Penny might be good freinds.

Pikachu was only 92 grams the day I brought him home. As he/she is larger than both of my other Quakers who weigh more, I tni k that's a bit thin. And palpate does feel thin. My Neptune weighs the most at 110 grams, Penny is 100 grams
Well today Pikachu is up to 94! So going the right way lol. Pikachu is great at eating pellets, but not willing to try new foods. We are making progress in that to humor me he will touch his beak to stuff. But with the flocks help I've seen him nibble peas, bell pepper, cranberries, and apple.. I can't even get him to eat it eggs or pasta , some if the easier food birds will try.. he will beak tip touch or tip of tongue touch then shake his head open his mouth like dramatic terrible taste lol funny but dang it Pikachu eat some veggies already!!!

Pikachu weight up to 97 grams now!!! His first day was only 92 grams a little low for some Reason.
He bigger than Neptune who is 111, but could be more

Today Pikachu flew with the Oven Baked Bites by All living things !! Lol I got the best pic I could of him eating his pellets that he flew to me carting so he could snack and visit!! He ate fresh pumpkin earlier.
