I just use my food scale. Sammy will sit on it without a perch, so no problems. I think the perch would remind him of the vet, so this works well.

My brother makes "home brew" hard apple cider and mead and uses a food scale for whatever reason It only goes to 500g's. Last night I was able to get Amy to stand on the platform to get his weight. The readout showed "e e e e e e" which means it went over the 500g maximum
So Amy still weighs too much! And I thought he felt lighter when he took a shower with me lol.
Now I'm really waiting for that scale from Parrot Wizzard
