Thanks all. Yep, I am really excited and nervous! He is so perfect looking, and my search for him and watching him grow could not have been better. Everything lined up and he and I have found each other... He is my first real baby (my other pets are rescues who came to me as adults... missed the baby stage!). Thanks for the responses and wish us luck!

Final pictures of my boy Memo. At least until I get him home!! Just one more week!

HeeHee. Your son is so right. I love his colors... And, I cannot wait to see him and those colors in person... His breeder has done such a good job... He knows step-up, eats a good diet, and takes his bath everyday... I am so happy...

I remember when I got Mishka, I never slept for the first few days, checking randomly at night to make sure that she was still breathing
As for the freedom part, Mishka has kept me a prisoner since her arrival, and I would not have it any other way.

Well, my boy Memo comes home in just 2 days! Here are some recent photos... Memo is on the right. He is enjoying some millet with 2 of his siblings... I am so excited! Yay! Enjoy, Will.

You are so kind, I have unfortunately had to postpone picking Memo up as we have been dealing with the unexpected death of a very good friend the morning of Memo's arrival home. Thanks to my very kind breeder, he is staying with her while we take care of the services, etc... It has been very sad and his presence would be a welcome addition right now, but we are helping the family as much as possible. I will be sure to keep you all posted. All the best, Will.

Hello All,
I have had to postpone bringing Memo home... But, Monday will be the day! I am so excited! This has been the longest week of the process, but, he is in fantastic hands. He is enjoying his Mom and Dad's attention, and in the grand scheme of things it will be just a blink of an eye.
He looks so grown up and is eating, bathing, and even flying like a big boy (check out that tail)!
I feel ready, but expect to hear and see a lot more from us after he is actually home and settled in.

Ugh! You have touched on my 2 biggest fears... Noise and mess! (probably everyone's biggest fears!). I was hoping I could teach him to whisper and use the dustbuster.
It takes me 8 minutes maximum to clean Mishka's cage PROPERLY
(we have timed it 4 times) That is wiping down the bars, scrubbing the grates, cleaning the bowls and changing the newspaper.
The noise, thank goodness Mishka prefers talking more than anything else, so I honestly don't have a problem there.
Happiness.................... over cleaning.......................... a million times more
