hey wjh here's ur favor for ya lol. I brought home Rocky on friday and he is doing amazing. He always wants out of his cage when he see's me walk past his cage and when i do have him out and try to put him back into his cage he's a little booger and doesn't want to go back in. He'll just run back up my arm and onto my shoulder. lets see what else ummm he's not very loud at all the only time he makes noises is when he's out and im talking to him. Also added a pic of him

Thanks for the info cg. Rocky is great looking and I am glad to hear he is doing well. I am curious what kind of schedule you have him on? I understand that's pretty important and am planning on trying to have a set routine from Day 1.

Hello again all, So, my little boy looks all grown up and will come home to me in just 3 weeks! He is doing well, learning to "step-up", and exploring everything. I can't wait to share our experiences once he joins my household and starts to settle in and get aquainted. Stay tuned...

hey Will usually i get up at about 2:00pm because i work night shift at Fedex Express and usually get Rocky out of his cage and usually ill take him somewhere quite cause im trying to teach him how to talk but he's being stubborn and usually just wants to play. But ill have him out until i go to class at around 5:00pm and because of daylight savings time it gets dark at like 6 so he will usually just go to bed and I obviously don't disturb his sleep cause they need there sleep otherwise he i a little bit cranky lol im saving up some money to buy rocky a play gym for up in my room since that is where i spend most of my time lol and also just to have a play gym around for him

Interesting, I work the overnight shift as well and have been thinking about how this will affect both our daily routines. I have a playgym for him and am hoping he can adjust to time on it occupying himself when he is not literally "on" me. We will see how that goes. His big cage will be in my bedroom but during the day I spend a lot of time in the main part of the apartment, so I have been thinking about what might be a good system.

Has Rocky been pretty independent?

ya for the most part he has. It's funny when he eats his pellet food he will take a single pellet take it over to his water dish dip it into the water and then will eat the pellet its pretty funny and also the other day i gave him a shallow dish of water to let him take a bath in it and he was kinda scared at first but i stuck my fingers into the dish and kinda splashed around in it after a minute or two he finally reliezed what it was for and he went to town he made a huge mess lol but it was funny watching him bathe himself. I dunno if Memo has a cozy hut but i suggest you get one and if he has one right now ask if you can buy it off of them cause it seemed to help Rocky out when he first got home cause it was something he was familiar with and if your lucky like i was the bird store where i got Rocky let me have the cozy hut for free

ooooh! Getting closer!

I can't imagine how many things I would have bought for Cal if I'd had to have waited weeks instead of a few days!!!! You must look like you're expecting a Zoo full by now

Yeah, probably broke every rule in the book... And everyday new things pop into my head. My dogs have been pretty good using what I have gotten them. When I took kitty home I tried every treat, bed, and toy imaginable... At the end of the day she wants her food and the box from amazon.com's weekly delivery! Should be interesting... Will.
