TV Advert - Mishka

That's really awesome!!!!

Dunno if I ever told you this or not, one of my best talking birds is actually JoJo the male ekkie. His voice is clear as day and he knows how to say a lot of words. He'll stop speaking if your trying to record it though.....My next two are the Macaws, both talks all the time saying all kinds of words. But probably never as good as Mishka is though!

That great Michael....... please try and video JoJo talking, just hide the camera away.

Any bird could talk as well as Mishka does, if the bird is willing to learn and the guardian is prepared to put in many hours of talking and training, making sure both you and the bird are always having fun.

Within one week Mishka was saying his last two lines for the script too beautifully.

I want to go home - OMG he says it so sadly as if he was crying

I want to go to the forest - says it with such emotion

Mishka worked hard and we had so much fun learning the script

They told me they gave Mishka 6 months to a year to learn the script

He amazed us all, me included and learnt it in one month and three days

Now the waiting for the advert to be edited and completed by the TV crew

Mishka is the star, is it was not for him, this would not have ever happened.

So far the radio advert is being made.
They are struggling to make the video footage due to Mishka moving around so much, having different things said in different parts of his cage. Haha typical bird

I will definitely keep you all posted when it will be aired.

Tomorrow morning I will video Mishka just being Mishka and upload it on YouTube. It seems like forever since I last last posted a video.....

After a month and two days of hard work, Mishka and myself had completed the project.

We played, while learning having so much fun, what an amazing experience.

I continuously videoed and recorded him each and every day.
Mishka is truly a wonderful learner and came through like a STAR

I videoed him earlier today

I expected him to continuously repeat the script he had learnt, only a few words were said.
It was amazing to hear him just being himself again

My Grey Sophie likes to hear Mishka! It's really funny because when he talks,she's not too sure or interested, however she loves the clucks and whistles in between and respond to them with the same clucks and whistles.

My Grey talks too, but she responds to Mishka's birdie talk the best. Now I understand when they say that if you put 2 talking parrots together, they will talk less. They will talk, but probably not human language!

You know what would be cool? Never mind the human entertainment, you should record a video of Mishka's real language! LOL. I bet he's smart in that language too and I'm sure other Grey would LOVE to listen to him! I know mine does! I have no clue what he's saying of course, but my Sophie does and respond to it......she doesn't respond to all Greys so it's interesting and I wonder why.....

Mishka is cleverly now adding the script into his normal every conversations, it's so cute.

Hee! It's my Ellie's birthday today and I asked her what she'd like to do to celebrate it. She replied 'I want to go to Kruger Park with Sterretjie'. I said OK, but she'll have to pay for the tickets. And it may take a while. In the end, we settled for Chinese take-away and a Tiramisu cake. Yum! Ell will be pleased to know there's another Mishka vid coming. She's just washing her hair (with water) (in the bathroom) (bubblebubblebubble)...
