Trying cucumber.

I cut up some cucumber for my budgies but they seem to be scared of it, they keep running from it also, I stopped trying to give it to them because it’s obvious they don’t want it but why would they be scared of it? Heres a picture of them.

The answer, surprisingly, is oddly common sense. A lot of times, if they’ve never been introduced to something, they have no clue it’s food! It’s just this new, intrusive thing on their environment. Keep trying, and try to pair it with other food items, like millet.

I’ll try but they don’t normally act like that when I introduce something, maybe they think it smells weird?
